Gorditas 2 Go — Restaurant in Liberal

Ordered Asada torta. They put roast beef. Called and explained to them. They said, they cut it to small pieces. I told them, I know the difference between steak and roast beef. Steak don't shred in your fingers like roast beef. He finally admitted the cook replace steak with roast beef. I told him I don't want my money back. The principle that matters. Going to try to lie then finally admitted. i told him, he doesn't need to refund me my money back. Instead of trying to lie at the start. I know everyone trying to cut corners but, come on. Roast beef trying to pass as asada. That's unforgivable. Paying more and they throw cheap can roast beef as steak. Shame on them....

The staff were friendly but the food was mostly bland. The al pastor was under seasoned, dry and no pineapple flavor in it but the barbacoa was tasty. The beans and rice were also pretty bland. When the gentleman at the cash register asked me how the food was, I informed him of what I thought of it, honestly and respectfully but he took offense and didn't appear to really care about what I really thought of the food. My husband and I were driving through liberal on the way to Wichita, and we needed something quick. I read the reviews for this place, and it sounded good. He had Carne Asada burrito Smothered and I had a chicken gordita. I am really only grading the food here, and it was very, very good.
