Today's visit to Forrest Coffee, if indeed their soft opening, was an absolute hit! Honestly, it's about time we shifted our coffee allegiance—goodbye Mojo, hello Forrest! Situated right by the police station, this place is a treasure trove for anyone passionate about top-notch coffee and espresso. Their cappuccino? Simply impeccable. And it's not just the brew that makes your day; the staff here are the real deal—super friendly, genuinely courteous, and always up for a good chat with the customers.

Forrest Coffee is a spot for everyone, no matter your age or preference. And for the guys, they might only have three beers, but each one is a standout—McConahaze (spelling might be off, but the taste is spot on!), Love Street, and Aldstadt Hefeweizen. Visited several times and found it to be a nice cozy spot to get coffee. Hearing they were going to start having a car show on the 4th Saturday of the each month really got our attention as we are car enthusiasts, and decided to bring our ‘23 roadster. Today we got up early and drove 45 minutes to get there at 7:00, and were surprised when we were told we couldn’t park there where the “display cars” were parked at the coffee shop, but would have to park at the school parking lot about 500 yards up the street. Only a handful of folks took the hike up to where we were to view us and about 10 other cars. All of us in the exiled car area were just sitting around looking at each other and most left shortly after arrival, disappointed we couldn’t be part of the event. Obviously, their area of expertise is coffee, not car shows. When we went down to the shop to hear the live music and hit the food truck as advertised, we found neither, but were surprised to see that there was plenty room to accommodate additional classic cars there.
