Waited in the drive thru line 42 mins. When I finally got to the window I could see orders sitting on the counter waiting to be delivered to customers for several minutes at a time. The manager was not in a hurry at all and offered limited help to staff. He showed no sense of urgency with the current situation, that being a line of cars and a store full of customers. Finally, the young man that made my order, walks to the window to hand it to me and proceeds to slip and fall. The order has to be remade at this point, not that anyone explains this, I can see the ripped bag as it's placed on the counter. I'm not sure the reason for the slip, but no one did anything to the area afterwards which seems like it would continue to be a potential hazard. After seeing the frustration and confusion on my face, the manager finally came over to the window to offer up a very insincere apology, proceeding to explain they usually have nine employees but had only three today. While I am more than sympathetic to the situation, I felt that receiving an apology 35 mins in was past the point of acceptable. With that said, I accepted the apology but offered my constructive feed back stating that before the slip, I had already waited 35 mins in line. He said he knew because he can see when the order was placed. I didn't see him at the window again for the remaining 12 mins I had to wait for them to remake my order. The same young man that slipped and fell brought my order to the window again. I asked him if he was okay, seeing as I don't know that anyone else did. I appreciated the fact that he seemed to grasp the situation and presented a sense of urgency. Lastly, I pose two questions...if you're short employees could you not have informed your customers of such as they placed their order, or, could you not have shut down the drive thru line and focused on the needs of your customers inside? Just a thought. I hope this feedback serves as a catalyst for some much needed...
Read moreLet me preface my review by stating it takes quite a bit for me to leave a 1-star review. My family and I love Schlotzsky's in Liberty Hill and order it pretty regularly since my daughter loves their pizza. Today, however, may change how frequently we visit, if ever again...
I order on the mobile app at 4:30 PM, to be ready by 5:15, and actually arrived at 5:25 due to heavy traffic. Upon arrival, I was told that my order was 'missed' and they were just now getting started on it. I explained I had my kiddo in the car and I went back to sit for another 5 minutes. This was frustration #1.
After coming back inside to check on my order, the guy at the front counter simply pointed to it on the 'to-go' shelf around the corner. Nobody once offered to bring it out to me, which would have made it right in my eyes. My daughter's pizza was cold as well. This was frustration #2.
At this point, I asked what the manager's name was, to which I was given a shrug, causing me to ask if he didn't know his own manager's name and to please go get him. Now, normally I won't do this if there's an apology given or at least a thank you, but there was zero of either. I was simply shown where my food was and dismissed. Finally the manager comes out and it was apparent he couldn't care less. I explained the situation and was given an insincere apology. This was frustration #3.
To top it all off, I had ordered a French dip which comes with an au jus sauce (hence the 'dip' in French dip), but guess what...it wasn't in the bag. Also, the sandwich sizes were incorrect.
Not sure if it's a lack of management, skills training, poor hiring practices, or all of the above, but we will likely avoid this location based around our poor experiences lately. It's unfortunate because we enjoy the food, but this location just can't seem to get anything...
Read moreOrdered dinner online for my large family from this location. We ordered a good amount of food. The food was made on time and promptly handed over to me from a young girl working the window. She even had me review the receipt on the outside of our bag to make sure my order was correct. I confirmed that the receipt was what I ordered but didnât check the back to ensure the food was all in there until I got home. I then realized they forgot my daughterâs mac and cheese. So I turned around and drove all the way back. Once at the drive through I told the same girl as before that my Mac and cheese was missing and she replied âNo it was in thereâ. I then responded âI just unpacked all of the food at home and it is not thereâ to which she replied âWell I remember putting it in there!â. Someone else came on the speaker to announce that they would remake it. As in waiting in line my children from home call to tell me they also messed up on the cookie sandwiches (they were given sugar cookies instead of the chocolate chip that their website advertises). I politely tell the same young girl as before to which she argues again with me stating it was my fault for not choosing the chocolate chip option when I ordered online. I pulled out my phone to show her that there is no such option online and that the item only describes it as a chocolate chip cookie. She then said well itâs not our fault chocolate chip cookie wasnât selected. Twice this girl argued with me over errors on their end. The foods not worth it to have to deal with being called a liar. I did speak to a manager and she was nicer but when I explained that my issue was now the rude girl and the arguing and the manager didnât really seem to care. She did offer to remake the cookies but I declined. Photos are of my order and of...
