I’m afraid. I’m afraid that I will forget a part of my first experience at Culver’s. Upon entering I was welcomed by a line cook who shouldn’t even give a shit about his job but all staff I interacted with were more than pleasant. A bit of background information, before coming inside I slammed my face on the car door-okay continued-Ethan rung up my order at the register and I was asking my girlfriend if it was a visible injury and she was concerned for the skin that wasn’t there and I said that skin is a pretty big organ and Ethen assured me that it was the largest organ making me feel validated and then he got our order perfect and was very pleasant. My crispy chicken sandwich was very crispy, lots of lettuce and pickles and good sauce ratio, mashed potato’s were just fine but I was glad that I had them. Very good custard they probably gave me a generous 2$ worth of pecans and they are my favorite nut. public Bathroom experiences can be stressful but I’m looking forward to the next time i need to #2 at Culver’s, the facility was perfect. Well lit, music on and the doors both shut and locked leaving me in a sanctuary to reflect on how great the restroom was, small trashcan allowed me to kick my feet up and relax to the country music about a young woman being “too pretty for the city” the assessable stall had a hook at an appropriate height and by the sink there was a sharps container for guests to safely throw out any needles and syringes, making a safer environment for both staff and guests. Along with Harm reduction Culver’s also funds programs that help teach students and children how to become farmers and are promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering youths. BONUS!! They did not donate to project 2025, trump or any other political actions. The staff once again- we’re all having good natured fun while getting their jobs done perfectly with good knowledge of the menu and in Ethen’s...
Read moreWent in this afternoon since I was in the area and hadn't been in for a while. The timing wasn't all that great with everyone in the area doing TP and bleach runs on the surrounding stores. Culver's was great. Despite the obvious tensions in the stores, the staff at the restaurant was very at ease. We decided to dine in since It was a welcome change of pace. The Bacon Butter Burger was hot and juicy, and the fries were golden. Similarly, the lobby was nice and tidy. What made this dining experience memorable was the details that any other time would go unnoticed... There was plenty of soap in the bathrooms no touch dispensers, to use with the touch free faucets. The tables were spotless with the salt and pepper shakers conspicuously absent. The person who brought out meals out was friendly and casual, but wearing nitrile gloves. I really enjoyed going into Culvers for a sit down meal, particularly reassured that there are businesses that care for both their employees and customers every day. It's just about impossible to live in isolation in today's society. So don't... Save the handshake for another day, but don't hesitate to stop for a shake or burger. Share a friendly smile or gesture, contagions that will outlast any bug. Thanks for the great meal Culvers, God bless America, we'll all be here together...
Read moreFirst time visiting the location. All the advertisements for some reason led me to believe this was a traditional restaurant (where you sit, order from a server, eat, and pay), not the fast-food hybrid that it is. You order, pay, and someone will deliver the food to your table. They provide you a number placard to place on your table to facilitate this process. It's a simple but smart system, and avoids the use of those buzzers a lot of places use now.
With that said, they have some decent burgers. I had the single Wisconsin Swiss melt with cheese curds, and my wife had the single Mushroom and Swiss Butterburger with Onion Rings. We both agreed that the sandwiches were good, but not overly exceptional. Pretty much standard burgers that might be a touch better than fast-food. The cheese curds and onion rings were very good however. The curds were pretty big, gooey, and not overly oily. The onion rings were crisp and flavorful, and not overdone like some places.
Unfortunately, with all the food we did not have a chance to try the milkshakes. We reserve to try that at a later time.
Service was very friendly, and very fast. We waited no more than five minutes for our food to be ready.
We'll eat here again when we are on this side of the city. We wish there was a location within the I270...
