This place is packed and loud! Be prepared to be seated with a crowd if you want to dine in. We decided to try this place for the first time but did takeout. Overall it was a disappointment except the service was good. Everything was ready to go when we arrived. We ordered the meatball sub for $15, the American burger for $15, and the avocado salad was $13 plus $6 for 4 pieces of chicken for a total of $19. I don’t recommend the meatball sandwich. It was very small. The meatballs were kind of bready and very peppery. The bread was your average grocery store soft roll. Not much tomato sauce and no mozzarella. Was underwhelming. The burger was very good though a bit undercooked for medium, but the bun was not “garlic toasted” nor did it come with “dijonaise.” It came with a skimpy amount of fries and no Dijon or ketchup. The avocado apple salad was the highest cost and least worth it. The chicken add, at an extra $6, looked like it was cut and cooked by a toddler. The salad was mostly greens and maybe 3 thinly sliced apples and 5 pieces of small avocado. It allowed a substitution so instead of avocado dresssing I ordered the balsamic vinaigrette, which unfortunately was thick like mayo. The goat cheese didn’t taste like goat cheese, more like cows milk feta. If I came again I would get a burger. If you expected something like the KS menu, you will be disappointed as it does not have many vegetarian options. Overall it’s a limited menu, pricey, and in my personal opinion there are better restaurants in Powell at this price point that offer better value...

We went for the 1st time for lunch today, got in at a few minutes after 11, and no one else was there, got seated and ordered pretty quick, the young lady that seated us, I forgot her name, was very nice, she also was our waitress, she kept our refills up, was polite, on it. We ordered the poutine, fries with gravy, cheese curds and brisket, it was super good! My husband loved it. He ordered the pot roast, comes with mashed potatoes and green beans, he really liked it to, he kept raving about it! Meat was tender, gravy was very good and potatoes super creamy, just perfect. I ordered the fried chicken, comes with mashed potatoes and green beans, and gravy on the potatoes and chicken. I loved the chicken, I dont know if it was marinated or just the flour mixture they use, but it was so tasty! Loved the boneless thigh, the breast was just as good, Im just partial to dark meat. The gravy on the chicken was also good, different gravy than potroast gravy, but still so flavorful. The green beans were good, but I like them softer, they are very crisp, but thats my preference, my husband ate every green bean on his plate. They get 5 Stars all the way! Food excellent and came out quick and hot, waitress...

Last night, we celebrated the final evening of our honeymoon at Two Rivers Restaurant and Bar, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special night.

I ordered the fried chicken, and it was nothing short of perfection. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was clear that this dish was crafted with care and expertise. The accompanying mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting, paired beautifully with the rich pan gravy. The green beans were cooked just right, maintaining a delightful crunch, and the cornbread was a heavenly, slightly sweet complement to the savory main course.

Every bite was a testament to the skill of the kitchen and the quality of the ingredients. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made us feel celebrated on our special night.

Two Rivers Restaurant and Bar truly exceeded our expectations and provided a perfect ending to our honeymoon. We can't wait to return and enjoy another wonderful meal....

We were visiting from out of town and had the pleasure of stopping in for dinner. First of all, the place was hopping and I was glad to get a reservation! Second, the staff were SO NICE. We talked to our waiter, another who stopped by to talk about his volunteering with the zoo (why were in town), AND the owner. Everyone was very friendly and outgoing, and checked on our table often. On to the food... everything was perfect. My daughter chose the fried chicken and ate every bite of it. My husband got the steak frites and the flat iron steak was cooked perfectly and absolutely tender. I got a chopped salad with steak added on and my steak was perfect, too. The lemon poppyseed dressing was my favorite, though our server (Jacob) brought me a backup side of ranch in case I didn't love the poppyseed. The restaurant has a small but excellent wine list and good cocktails. They were quick to refill my daughter's soda. If we were local, this would 100% be our go-to restaurant. I would be there weekly if I could!

Wow, impressive new restaurant in Powell. Happened across them on opening night, crowded, but I was still able to be seated within 20 minutes (Impressive considering it was day 1). I had the Southern Fried Chicken, my wife had the Turkey Croissant, with a Goat Cheese appetizer and Peach Cobbler for dessert. All was outstanding. Food was fresh, and very well made. I very much enjoyed it. Everything was made from scratch, and you could easily tell there were no 'powdered mixes' being used for anything, it was all fresh, even the mashed potatoes and gravy. Would love to see just a few more items on their menu, but overall, very excited to see fresh, good food come into Powell. Best of luck Two Rivers
