I avoid Dunkin donuts like a plague-due to past quality of food/drink issues AT TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS - NOT THIS LOCATION the one in Niles Ohio and the one in Girard Ohio on Salt Springs road off of exit 22 6pm I-80 by the truck stops, but with four kids and being on vacation today they insisted on Dunkin. I tried to talk them into Dennys, McDonald's, Burger King, Panera, and Starbucks. They DEMANDED Dunkin in their cute little kid voices (ages 14,11,7,&5yrs) so I said fine I'll get Dunkin at the newer location near our house that opened early last year. They were excited.
It didn't start out great (ON MY PART), BECAUSE: half asleep me on four hours of sleep and no coffee yet, missed the entrance due to a car cutting me off on Belmont ave (rd in front of Dunkin) to also go there, so I made the next turn which surprisingly was the entrance to a hotel, but you could turn into Dunkin also. Pleased to not have to go onto the main road to immediately turn in I took the hotel entrance into Dunkin. I turned left to park due to TWO SEPARATE ORDERS and not wanting to delay their drive thru. Well it's NO LEFT TURN, but I realized it after turning left. There were arrows on the ground that I missed because I was half asleep still. There was however no sign saying right only or no left turn. That isn't too major though, it was my fault, and I was still upset about being cut off on the road because my 11 yr old son was in the car.
After parking and going in we were in line and a guy that could only be described as an a hole literally screamed his order at the cashier Jessica. I looked at him and said oh I thought I was next. He screamed at me and said your at FKN Dunkin Donuts. I said no shyt (had Dunkin coupons in hand). We let him get his order first just so he'd leave.
We placed a larger sized order on our first order. The first order consisted of TWO turkey bacon white cheddar chabatta sandwiches, one bacon egg and cheese bagel, one sausage egg and cheese croissant, and one medium French Vanilla swirl latae (coupon was for the coffee to get it for $1 off). On our second order we got a dozen donuts with a dollar off coupon. Five glazed, one raspberry filled, three swirly colored Boston creme, and three regular Boston cream donuts.
Jessica was very nice ringing us up even after the man screamed at her and myself. She appeared to be new, but she did a great job. She took her time and repeated my order to me. I would always prefer them taking their time in the beginning and not rushing so we don't end up having to correct it later due to errors. She did fantastic. Once she gets more confidence she'll be a star in guest services (I'm a manager at another local business also)! Keep up the great work Jessica! Jessica got our dozen donuts after giving us both receipts and our change and told us with a small smile our food would be ready at the next counter. We thanked her and went to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf youāre going to be open 24 hours at least have good service and stop lying about the system updating so you donāt have to take card or give change back. The employees at night are so lazy. I go to the Dunkin on Belmont at night because almost every dunkin is closed and there has been 2 nights in a row one being today that I go through the drive thru window and the employee makes an excuse that they canāt take card or cash unless itās the exact amount of cash that the food or drink item is that Iām purchasing. I went to the Dunkinā down the street in Warren and they know that theyāre lying. I shouldnāt have to go to the Warren dunkin because Belmont dunkin doesnāt feel like doing their job. If this dunkin on Belmont is going to be open 24 hours act like it and stop hiring lazy lying employees. That makes your company look bad. I go to every local dunkin around here almost everyday and Iāve never had a problem with any other dunkin saying that their computer/ register is updating. I get Dunkin every single day, sometimes twice a day but if this location is going to be that way then I wonāt go there and Iāll go to other Dunkinās or Starbucks. Iām a loyal customer and this is how we get treated.
Update: just visited again today and the old lady making my drink had an attitude and when I told her it was wrong she tried to tell me what light ice looks like when I get the same thing everyday from different Dunkinās. She whispered something over to her coworkers and rolled her eyes at me. Literally tried to argue with me so the second time she made my drink incorrectly I just took it and left. I will not be back to this dunkin again. Terrible customer service and some of the employees clearly donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTrash ssa location. 3rd time driving through and they've struck out. I'm over it. Whoever the jerky woman is who was working drive through tonight 7/13 at 8:20p needs to be fired. Moat people work jobs they aren't in love with, but when you detest your job it shows. Put her back in the unemployment line to re-evaluate the industry she wants to work in. Fast food/retail/customer service isn't for her. A Dunkin donuts with under 4 stars is very telling. I should've checked before I'd gone but because I don't love in the area and don't frequent often I never cared to look. I'm only here now because that worker has me so annoyed I'm making it a point to rate this locations employees. The last 2 times I went were bad because my damn avocado bread at one visit was hard and my snacking bacon was cold and old. I chalked the bacon up and just broke them into pieces to top the egg white bites. This lady getting smart with me through the speaker was the last straw. I just drove away. I Won't ever spend my money...
