Golden China — Restaurant in Liberty Township

Let's start with the good. The food was outstanding! My wife had the Dragon and Phoenix. The shrimp were huge, and everything was cooked to perfection. My daughter got the sweet and sour chicken kids meal. It was the same size as the regular meals, for about half the price. She liked the chicken, but she's a picky 6-year-old so that's all she ate. My wife and I tried the veggies, and they were great. She loved the sauce, too. My sesame chicken was wonderful. The sauce was thick and tasty, the chicken was cooked right, and the broccoli was crunchy.

Here's the bad: They forgot the drink we ordered, and because it was delivered the driver had no way to correct this. Also, it took well over an hour to get our food (it was somehow still hot). They were very busy, and obviously didn't have enough drivers. Did I mention the hungry 6 year-old?

We will definitely eat here again - it's our new go-to for takeout. Not too sure if we'll ever order delivery from here on a Friday...

Gave this place a go from a friend's recommendation. The reviews were mediocre and not the best rating however we tried anyway. The reviews for this place are pretty accurate, 3* at best. It's a mom/pop/kid place with 1 table in there to sit at, so plan on takeout. The other table is full of school stuff and other things. They had my order ready exactly when i wanted and they seemed nice. When it comes down to the food, everything was really bland imo. The beef mai fun as you can see is white, it's like there is no sauce or anything, maybe just a little sesame oil. The egg rolls were pretty tasteless as well. The pork fried rice and the crab rangoons were good. The kung po chicken was mediocre, not much spice to it. The egg drop wonton soup was really thin, normally i see it a bit thicker. Once again that was pretty bland as well. Unfortunately, I don't think i will be back. I appreciate the service, good luck...

First time ordering- Received a Very horrible service. First the lady jumped out of the toilet wearing wet gloves. And headed straight to attend to me. I asked her to change her gloves before attending to me. I placed order for large fried rice and chicken and vegetable roll. Waited a few minutes and she came back and mumbled whatever dropped the food on counter and left. I got home with the food- oil was flowing all over the the food and the roll she added wasn’t fresh and tasted refried. I can tell you that wasn’t chicken meat - it was weird and slimy 🤮🤮🤮I called them to return the food- a lady answered the call and told me never to return to d restaurant. I’ll definitely be disputing the charge with my bank. People, please always try to cooked your meal at home - I only went there because my kid was starving. Will never...
