I’ve managed several jimmy Johns locations, so I’m going to have some pretty specific critiques for you guys. Your PM shift would fail the corporate visit 4/5 times.
Sandwich accuracy needs work. You’re supposed to get the mayo edge to edge so there’s no dry bites. There’s specifically big dry chunks every time I order a sandwich. The photo attached is a very large area with no mayo on it when I ordered EXTRA mayo. The extra mayo servings aren’t the appropriate amount either. It’s inconsistent and the employees aren’t following the heaping scoop and level scoop rules.
Speed - sandwiches are supposed to be made in 30 seconds each. I personally could do a #9 in 15 from start to finish. The employees here are usually 90-120 seconds which is really bad and doesn’t represent the brand at all.
The cleanliness gets an 8/10 from me. I’m not going to bother going into details about the mayo rotation on the shelves or the chip rotation. #1 critique here is the mop smell that overpowers the food smell in the front of the restaurant. Might need to add deep washing that mop on the daily or weekly?
Anyways the service has been consistently lacking in the PM shift for months when I go there now. Hopefully management can improve.
As far as employee attitude, they’re all cool....

I placed an order for two sandwiches in store, with each only having TWO requests/changes. my girlfriend and I both received incorrect sandwiches.
Upon politely informing the counter about the mistake, I was gruffly made another sandwich. But that one was screwed up too! Unfortunately I trusted the staff to make a correct sandwich after already making a pretty embarrassing mistake, and drove away carrying on about my day, only to open a sandwich I did not order 10 minutes later.
It's too hard to remember TWO requests at one time for a sandwich shop for these guys!
I'm more than happy to go in explicit detail about my experience and what went down, I am a routine Jimmy John's customer, I've been coming for 12 years, across many stores, long before the (now my closest) Powell location opened, and I am beyond disappointed in the behavior of the staff.
It has been a downhill trend across multiple stores with poor staff.
I wish I placed an online order, but to be honest I don't trust these employees to read!
My order was also made slowly and pathetically both times.
I am struggling to consider ever patronizing a Jimmy...

I haven’t successfully walked out with any food yet, but maybe one day!
I’ve made three online orders, two for pickup, one for delivery but none of those three orders could be fulfilled due staffing shortages.
I’ve never seen more than two employees in the store at any one time and on two occasions I’ve seen only one. The most successful Jimmy John’s locations have a vibrant staff of 4 or more workers; I’ve seen as many as 8 in busy locations!
On my forth and most recent attempt at an order, my daughter and I walked in at 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and we had to stand in the doorway behind 4 other people waiting to place an order while the staff absolutely struggled to keep pace with a soulless thermal receipt printer that was pumping out online orders that soon would turn into refunds and apologies.
We left without as much as an acknowledgment from the overworked, frenzied team of just two.
Just like this location owner’s parents…I’m not mad…just...
