Love this place, can't say enough about it! The food is restaurant quality with a very relaxed, light, and uplifting atmosphere. The bar/lounge area has a very relaxed, dim lit atmosphere while the patio is open, partly covered, with tables, an outdoor bar, and a corn hole game in the back, with a beautiful view of a forest canopy. My boyfriend and I go for date night once a week, and everyone is always so friendly and quick to say hello and give handshakes. It's almost a community in itself. We had the privilege of talking with one of the cooks, and was able to compliment him on his skills, to find out that cooking good food is a passion for him, and he spoke so highly of working at Shakers that it made us love this place even more! Friendly atmosphere. Large well lit outdoor patio where you can dine. The service is quick and courteous. I recommend the black and bleu burger with swiss. It has been the best burger I've ever eaten so far!!! It doesn't really need the toppings. Why would you drown the best, juiciest burger in the area. The menu is full of great entrees at reasonable prices. Casual atmosphere but if you want a nice, quiet, romantic meal, dine before the night crowd comes in. Always friendly and fast service-- even on a busy weekend. Amazing happy hours for appetizers and drinks. I've tried almost the entire menu and have never been disappointed.

Friendly owners and staff. You walk into this place feeling like family. They are very protective over their customers and are quick to remove a person who becomes disrespectful (which is very, very rare to happen to begin with.)

The ribs are phenomenal and a Wednesday summer special. They also have live performances through the summer. 90% of the time one of the two owners, or both are there. That says a lot. It's obvious that Dan and Jay care about their customers and staff. I barely go anywhere else and same with many of the others...
