Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Licking

Spent $10.76 at Sonic for three soda pops 44 a large and a small when we got to the window the young lady proceeded to hand out the large to me I'm just kind of looking at it and looking at the car and thinking okay here we go so I put the large one in thinking gee I really could use a carrier here comes the medium have not no time to say a single word and then here comes the 44 barely got the 44 into the cup holder when the lid comes off as always and there it went all over the center call of my car and down my air conditioning unit"like that has never happened before to anybody"being totally shocked at this is happening I start rolling forward I slam on the break we roll backwards to speak to the young lady I tell her the lid has come off and the soda has spilled all over my car she looks at me and doesn't offer a napkin a towel are you okay let me come and help you hang on a minute mamma I'll help you with that or oh my gosh it's looks at me and shuts the window.I start cleaning up my car and then I find out that yes the soda went down the center column air conditioner I'm just really upset continually looking to see if anybody's coming out with anything to help clean up concerned, anything... nobody. So I go inside when I'm inside there's a young lady with dark hair making a milkshake and a blonde headed boy listening to heavy metal music making burgers I'm guessing the blonde turns down the music and the brunette turns around and I tell her that the soda just spilled all over my car and she said that she put the lid on it and she knows it was on it. I'm just kind of blown away, never at any time would I ever speak to a customer like that especially in lieu of the situation. They all proceeded to the back leaving me standing there. A young little curly head brunette boy came out and just looked at me and just started laughing as he walked around the fryer checked out the monitor and looked back to me and laugh some more, the blonde-headed girl who seems to be in charge came out with a big attitude letting me know that the lid was securely on and I just looked at her and said well it's all over my car telling me that lid was not secure and at this point yeah, I need a manager's number because I'm not going to get anywhere with these children. So she gives it to me when I step out to give the phone number a call well of course it's a non-working number so now I just want a soda replace the one that's there in my car. So when I went back in there I told her yeah I'd like to see if I could get a soda replaced the one that spilled she told me that I could pay for it and I can remove myself from the store or she'll call the police. At this point I didn't care. I cannot tell you how many times that I have ate at Sonic in licking and the items that I go home with are not the items that I ordered there's always something missing or messed up you would think I would have learned by now. I have now I will not return you've just lost the business of approximately 23 people everyone in my family we are...

Pitiful!!!! Phoned in order so that we did not have to wait an 1 hour for our food and in Hope's it would help them to get the order correct, which they consistently are not capable of doing. Low and behold it did not happen!!! Three of the burgers were not even close to being identifiable as what I ordered, however, the order on the ticket was listed correctly. Supposed to have 2 double burgers...NO double burgers! None of them were dressed correctly as ordered. Another trip BACK into town to get this straightened out/corrected. The manager, who was working the drive through window, did apologize and had the sandwiches remade, but did not off at all to compensate me in any way with coupons or in any other way, for my inconvenience and their incompetence. I also added an order of Onion Rings, which the manager informed me that she would have to ring up separately and charge me for, which speaks volumes about just how much she values return customers. I will never visit this Sonic again and further more, I will happily travel to surrounding town, 15-35 miles away, in order to avoid patronizing this Sonic establishment. I have visited this Sonic since they opened in 2005, at least once a week, and have witnessed it's demise over the last several years. We have consistently fed a family of 6-10 repeatedly from this Sonic. NOT ANY...

I ordered a "#3 meal" (that's how i said it to the worker). She asks "fries or tater tots", I say "fries". She says "anything else?" I say "an order of jalapeno poppers..." and order the rest of my food.

I get to the window, get the meal and say "Where's the drink?" SHE SAID I HAD TO ORDER THE DRINK. I said..."but... it's a meal, it's a combo, with fries and a drink" and she says "yeah but you have to order the drink too". This was at 5 pm-ish today, Saturday, October 29th, mousy blond girl with long hair and big glasses (in case management wants to know).

Really, Sonic? Literally the first time I've EVER heard from Sonic - and ANY other restaurant, ever - that a drink isn't automatically included in a combo meal. Girl, you messed up my order, don't try to pin it on me and make it my fault for not ordering. That's your job.

I won't be going back to this Sonic, apparently the staff aren't aware that meals include sodas, or the staff can't admit...
