Let me just say that I like to be the person that take someone to the Lucky Dollar Store for the first time. I live in Waynesville and the trip to Licking is such a beautiful scenic drive. I prefer to ride but yesterday I drove, so she could enjoy the pastoral farmland. We arrived in about 45 minutes and I saw Phil and Liz standing there and they said "Hi" and addressed me by my name. My friend said "wow they know you by name" and I laughed I said these two are like my best friends. Seriously this family is "Good People" I told them I had missed them and their fabric and just needed to get a good visit in. My friend D.,(plays the piano at our church and has a husband in the Army), was so happy with the prices and variety of fabrics that two hours later when we left she said she was glad I brought her there and that she felt so comfortable in the store. D. is a new quilt maker and I am sure that Phil and Liz at the Lucky Dollar Store made a great lasting impression which will travel with her through many towns and other fabric shops. It would be great if those other shops could ever meet the high standards of service and welcome that she received from The Lucky Dollar Store in...
Read moreI love the Lucky Dollar Store! Been going there for years to satisfy my fabric obsession. Best priced and widest variety of quality quilt fabric in Missouri and for several states around as far as I know. You would never know by the look of the storefront what wonderful things are inside! It's like the legendary book not revealed by the cover: there's always a mystery calling my name when I walk in. They have more than fabric too, and the stick is constantly changing. Some beautiful floor rugs there today, Dec. 22, 2018. Bright beautiful colors and designs with a firm deep nap, all shapes. Take your checkbook, the Lucky Dollar Store does not take credit cards. That's a good thing as it makes it impossible to spend more money than I have in the bank. If you have never been there, you're missing a hidden fabric lover's dream. Easy to do with this treasure hidden away in...

You can join their email list for specials they have. It is a family operated and very friendly. If you have a question they know right where they have it and if it is regarding how to do something they have suggestions. I have shopped there for 7 years and they have improved. They also carry crafts, rugs, funeral flowers, etc. One of our families favorite stores. If you enjoy sewing and are in the area, STOP! You won't be sorry. Make sure to bring cash or check with you, they don't take...
