WARNING: The content in this review could be severely disturbing and even traumatizing to people who are health conscious or vegans, and could even create an uncontrollable urge to break your willpower and go indulge in a cholesterol frenzy at the Bonefish Mack’s at 2002 E. Sample Rd. LHP or at any of their other locations. Wednesday night was an excursion to Lighthouse Point to try out Bonefish Mack’s Grill and Sports Bar. To my surprise, on a Wednesday night, off season, the place was packed and people were even eating outside on the canopied terrace in a 90 deg temp. That was the first hint that we hit the mother-load of a restaurants. The decor emulates New England wood paneled wall fisherie restaurants decorated with wooden lobster traps (naturally), a bunch of flat screen TV monitors to keep instant tabs on all sports, and taxied fished everywhere. Upon reading the menu filled with fried food items, it was poetry to men who love drinking beer, like me. Interestingly enough they also have a wide array of South of the Border Mexicana delights scattered all over the menu; and, they also have a long list of seafood dishes that are “market price” - to me that means “marker surprise”. We started off with 3 appetizers: onion rings doubled-dipped in beer batter and fried to a golden cake cuddling each ring; a 6-7” in diameter stuffed portobello parmigiana with creamy spinach, topped wit marinara sauce, and melted provolone and parmesan cheese -excellent!; and golden jumbo conch fritters. Entrees were: a full rack of tender and meaty baby back ribs coated with a sloppy and delicious sweet BBQ sauce; a St.Patty melt boasting a ½ lb grilled patty topped with American and Swiss cheese, sautéed onions, and grilled rye toast that were surely dipped in melted butter, but I couldn’t restrain myself and I added an order of bacon to pile on top (just .99 cents extra), and a side of mac & cheese. One in our party came to his senses and ordered a grilled salmon with steamed broccoli and carrots (what a wuss). I also noticed that they have a Monday night 10oz cut roast beef special for $15.95 – I must come back for that. And if you kids get restless, they even have an arcade in the back. I’ve already put their address in my car’s GPS under favorite destinations.

Bonefish Mac's Sports Grille was large with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, flat screen TV's throughout the restaurant, college football banners hung, framed jerseys and other memorabilias displayed on the walls. Their menu offers a vast selection of dishes such as: * Appetizers/soups/salad bowls/desserts * Seafood/ribs/wings/burgers * Pasta/fajitas/tacos * Wraps/hotdogs/sandwiches/subs * Cold beverages/craft beer/cocktails/wine/frozen margaritas My server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and specials when I told her it was my first time at Bonefish Mac's. After some time overlooking the menu, I decided to order a glass of white Zinfandel and some shrimp fajitas which was served with four tortillas, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce & cheese, and a side of black beans and rice. The shrimp fajitas was made nicely even though it was cooked with too much onions. After picking out the jalapenos (I don't like jalapenos) that was place on top of the beans and rice, I placed a bit of everything on the tortilla and ate my fill. I asked my server for a container to take the leftovers home. I had no room for dessert so I finished my wine and paid the check. There's a possibility that I may return to Bonefish Mac's. There are a few things on the menu that I would like to come back and try...and having happy hour all day is definitely a good incentive to stop by.

The others had a salad and another one had the fried shrimp with french fries as well and they look nice I shrimp all in all everything was good Jose the server was awesome so thank you 3/21/19- Wow lots to choose from. Big menu. Lots of goodies. We started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio Santa Margarita. Only $38.00. We shared a Crack Mac. Very rich and cheesey. Enough for two . So full , but the key lime pie plus coffee. Sports bar . HH all day . 3/4/18- went again this time I had to start grilled small order of chicken wings a few different flavors. Yummy. Then I had in recommendation of Michelle great bartender. We’re sorry cause some guy skipped out on-a $115.00 bill . That means she has to pay for it. Management should split it with her. Full bar one bartender .then I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops yummers great music here

Hope you enjoy this review, because it was a pleasure sharing it with you . Went to Bonefish Mac’s to check it out Wanted to see what it was about. Our waitress’s name was Brooke. She said I will be taking care of you. She did just what she said she would do. Our drinks were excellent , our food was delicious and hot. We had such a good time my wife left her camera behind. It was two days later when we faced the fact, that my wife left her camera at bonefish mac’s. She made the call we had to know, if we were going to get it back or needed to let it go. I watched her frown turn to a smile, and her eyes filled with tears, when Nick the manager said yes your camera is here. Brooke your waitress turned it in, and it has been in our lost and found safely bin. Thank you Brooke in every way for making June eighteen our special day, because of your noble act my wife got her camera back . So what you take from this review is totally up to you, but what you need to know that for nice drinks, good food, and great service bonefish mac’s is where to go.

EDIT: It's gone and we're back. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We were regulars at the Coral Springs location since it opened and moved East about a year ago. COVID happened so we’re definitely not regulars at Lighthouse Point but have been going every now and then for their great value drink and food. I'm writing this with hopes that the situation I describe below is an oversight of management and will be addressed. Otherwise, we will not be returning. On New Year’s Day we came for lunch and I noticed there was a “Go Brandon” sticker on the wall at the outside bar where we usually sit. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking it was new and not yet detected and that someone would scrape it off. My husband returned for a drink about a week ago and reported it was still there. We go out to forget the unfortunate circumstances of our current dividedness. It is unprofessional and ugly to air one’s political beliefs in a place of business. I certainly would never do this in my own business.
