Ok... I'm back (10/9) to revisit my original 3 stars, and original review at the bottom. I was off the mark a bit, they were still finding their groove, and while I still feel like the demographic is going to be kinda hard on these prices, I do think they are justified. The consistency here now is fantastic. We've been here 6-7 times. We've tried about half of the menu at this point, and I can't say anything bad. There have been some improvements since the opening which is my first review... and I think anyone looking for something better than KFC/BK/MCD's, etc... should give this a fair shot. Burgers are kinda like steak N shake but better. Chicken kinda like KFC but better. Herbed fries are pretty solid. Kids menu is generous. Everything is made to order, you never get cold fries or lukewarm chicken, nothing over or undercooked. Its nice to have this in the neighborhood, I hope they stay busy enough to stick around.
Look, I'm not trying to be mean here, just honest. The food was good. but it's WAY overpriced. It definitely reminds me of steak n' shake, which was cheaper and still went out of business up on Pleasant hill with all that traffic, so I fear for this place. $33 for two combos, thats way too steep for this demographic. The burgers were good, they still put their special sauce and sweet pickles on both of them even though we asked for them to be left off. I know they're growing and new, so I'm not really upset about that. The fries were WAY too salty and not that hot, the cheese is really thick and salty with just a few crubmles of baconn for $5, for $5.99 at Checkers a quarter mile away I get a whole MEAL of fries and chili and cheese and it's way better... Overall, as stated, its good, don't get me wrong. But the prices are kinda crazy for what it is, and I don't think they're going to be here for the long term once the 'new' wears off unless they adjust price to meet expectation. Those fries are worth $4 , the burgers are worth 8-10 tops. Didn't try the chicken fried bacon, that looks interesting but also expensive, didn't try the chicken tenders also look pretty good. We'll try those next time but thats probably going to be our last visit and we only live .5mi away. Also, we wanted to order ahead online, but their terms of service and privacy policy are junk, a third party manages their site and sells your info for marketing, and I just want to order food without getting emails from other companies, so we walked in to order and it took about 20 minutes, with nowhere for us to really sit because they did have a nearly full restaurant at around 7:30pm on a...
Read moreI recently visited No Idea Burger Joint at 1560 Indian Trail Lilburn Rd NW Ste. 103, Norcross, GA 30093, and it was an absolute delight! The burgers here are a cut above... juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with bold flavors thanks to their high-quality ingredients and creative toppings. I went for a classic smash burger, and the patty was crispy-edged yet tender, with fresh lettuce, tomato, and their signature "ideal sauce" tying it all together. Every bite was a burst of crave-worthy goodness, and the portion size for the price felt like a steal, especially in today’s economy.
What really made the experience stand out was the service, top-notch from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. To my surprise, the owner personally came out to our table with a sample of their roasted corn on the cob, served with a zesty cilantro ranch dipping sauce. The corn was perfectly charred, with a smoky-sweet flavor that paired beautifully with the cool, tangy dip.... an unexpected treat that elevated the meal.
No Idea Burger Joint delivers fantastic value, incredible burgers, and a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again....
Read moreUpdate10/2025! I gave this place another chance. While the burger wasn’t as salty (still salty) they made up for it and added the extra salt to the fries. 😟 I tried the “crispy chicken” and the chicken crispers at Chili’s were crispier. I ordered ahead and it was ready wayyy before the quoted time AGAIN but this time was sitting on the counter (not under a warmer) closed. Maybe the steam caused the chicken to not be as crispy as advertised. I also wish the website had descriptions of the sauces the chicken came with. I picked some random ones for my chicken and didn’t like them. I tried to give this place another try but I think I’ll have to pass.
The burger was extremely salty! I ordered online to be picked up specifically between 530-545. I ordered at 5, I received a text saying it was ready at 5:09 😕 hoping it was an error My friend went to pick it up at 535 and it was just sitting on the counter in a bag open. Not under/on a warmer. The fries were extremely cold and the salty burger was lukewarm at best. The bread was delicious and I wanted to...
