My wife, two young boys, and myself just had the worst dining experience here tonight. I had to take notes to make sure I didn't miss anything. Instead of droning on about it, I'll just type the quick notes: Times are close but might not be 100% accurate
5:30 - Hostess said "Hi" to my wife and then chatted with the other workers, ingnoring us for 1-2 minutes.
5:33 - Seated at table with no crayons for kids (they were out), no silverware, and no plates for the bread.
5:38 - Server finally stops by the table with plates. Still no silverware or drink orders taken
5:45 - Silverware arrives (now able to eat the bread) no order taken
5:50 - drink and food order taken and we were told the draft beer tap was out of order, had to order bottles. We were asked if we wanted the kids food out before our meals and we said yes.
5:57 - drinks come finally, we had nothing up til this point, but no straws were given. I also set my bottle back due to seeing the next table over had some drafts.
6:10 - kids food came out AND we FINALLY got straws. I also received the draft beer I wanted. And the neighboring table is halfway done eating their meal and they came in 15 minutes after us.
6:30 - (1 hour after being seated) My wife and I got our food...but now are kids have been done eating for a little while and are starting to get restless. I asked for the check right away so we can get that process started!
6:40 - the service manager stopped by and I shared this list. She apologized and tried to help which was very nice.
6:45 - the higher manager stopped by and we filled her in too. She said don't worry about the bill, they will cover it to make it up. And give the boys ice cream as well to keep them settled.
6:50 - we receive a new bill from the server...for $15...
7:00 - Free at last!!! Paid that $15 and got the heck out of there an hour and a half after getting there.
Worst....
Read moreI had this misfortune of dining here last night. I will preface things by stating that it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was busy so maybe that had something to do with our experience. Things started off badly, while being taken to our table the hostess realized that the table was not yet ready. A minor inconvenience but we were left with a wet table and seat cushions as the bus tub had been set in the bench seat and removed leaving a puddle. Next our server brought us bread and plates. One of the plates had food particles and again soaked in water. I was a little grossed out and chose not to eat the bread. Our son ordered the rattlesnake bites and after it was brought to our table he fished out of the Cajun dipping sauce half of a steak fry. A gentleman who was not our server brought us our salads and we asked if we could get the sauce replaced. He quickly returned with a new sauce. When our entrees arrived I was surprised to find the green beans swimming in water. I must say I never tasted them based on their appearance. I did find them on the restaurants website to confirm what it was they were suppose to resemble. These few beans floating in a soup cup of water was not anything like the heaping green dish presented on the website. My salmon looked as if it had been dunked in butter and unlike the "moist and tender" description was had and tough. I literally had to shove the fork into the meat and was able to lift it up like a popsicle with no worry of it falling apart. My wife remarked that her chicken had a strange texture, I did not try it so I dont know. Our son had a filet, it was cooked correctly and their side items were fine. Maybe I was at fault for ordering fish in a "steakhouse", perhaps it was the busy evening. But I'm not feeling like a return visit is likely anytime in my...
Read moreok, where do i start!! first i will state that this is mine and my wifes absolute go to steak house hands down!! never ever had a bad steak at the royersford pa location. now with that said, we were there yesterday for her birthday dinner, and have to give a big shout out to our server asher, who was awesome for sure, and was really a great server.....so a big big shout out to him! ok, BUT i had one other observation THAT MUST BE BROUGHT UP. as we were sitting at our table enjoying our meal, there was an older couple there maybe in there early 80's or so, with the wife being in a wheel chair. they were quietly enjoying there meal, and as they were finishing up eating, i took notice of there server who was a younger guy, having a really nice conversation with the husband, and were having a few laughs and talking for i would say a few minutes. the gentleman was laughing as well, and seemed to really enjoy that conversation to the fullest. the server, who i found out was named lawrence took there check, and brought back this very very sweet couple back there reciept. they then proceeded to have a small conversation again for a moment or 2. that server probably didnt no at the time he was doing this, that this conversation with him really made there day!! MY point is, this very very awesome server lawrence REALLY deserves high praise for giving the older generation couple just a few minutes of his time to have a sweet conversation with them.....IT WAS FLAT OUT AWESOME. i did call lawarence over and have him take a seat next to me to give him a fist bump, and tell him how awesome he was.......BIG SHOUT OUT LAWRENCE, you rock for sure!!! sorry for the long read, but i hope you take the time to...
