BROKE MY LAPTOP DON’T GO HERE

Brought my laptop in to get cleaned. I had spilled some beer on it a few weeks ago and some of the keys were just sticky so I wanted to get it cleaned. Nothing else wrong with it. I was told it would take 1-2 days. Called 2 days later and it wasn’t ready. 4 days later still not done. Finally 5 days later I called and had to specifically ask for the tech to get an answer which was that it was actually done the day before even though I never heard anything. But wait, it WASN’T done because when I got it back the keys were still sticky, so no it wasn’t ever done.

After all that they actually BROKE my shift key. Tried to chalk it up to “the beer must’ve degraded the plastic”. COMPLETE BS. That’s not how chemistry works. Nothing in beer is going to degrade any plastic such that it just breaks. You broke the shift key and didn’t actually clean the laptop. Completely horrible.

Don’t bring anything you care about here. They wont take care of it. All in all, I spent $80 to have my laptop broken and nothing else.

The company, as are many American companies, are outsourced to India so the customer service is very hard to understand. They are also very unaware of the repair procedure, time-frames or costs. I was told that my ipad could be fixed while I waited as long as the parts were in stock. Well, the parts were in stock, however, when I got to the local store they informed me that they in fact do not fix the screens while you wait. Needless to say that was aggravating and disheartening. Then the customer service had input the wrong style of my ipad even though I gave them the right version because you could not make an appointment without it. This changed the price when I arrived at the store, but we did resolve that issue quickly. Lastly, they boast about in-home service, which is really not provided which is also disappointing, as that was one of the main reasons why I picked this company. All in all, it took 4 days to get my ipad back. They did do good repairs, but I hate misinformation and...

What a tremendous waste of my time this place was. I took my Wii U in which had a ribbon cable clamp on the board that needed to be re-attached. I was promised a “free diagnostic” on the website, but when I took it in they wouldn’t even look at it without a $50 fee. What’s more, they said if that clamp had come off that the Wii U is likely toast. I got the sense that these people don’t actually know how to fix anything too complex, they probably know how to change your broken phone glass or clean your gaming system and that’s about it. I knew going in that my fix was not overly complex because I saw people on YouTube do it, I just wanted an “expert”. Turns out, I’m the expert I guess, I ended up fixing it myself by watching YouTube videos.

The guy tried selling me on their monthly subscription plan. LOL what is the point when they couldn’t even prove to me they could fix my issue? My Wii U...
