Dunkin' — Restaurant in Lincoln Park

Beware: Guy on night shift doesn’t make the latte drinks properly. He uses old espresso shots that are sitting in the metal cup underneath the espresso machine that he didn’t even “pull”, could even be just old coffee that he puts in that metal cup. I’ve worked at a coffee shop before; you add the flavored syrup, milk, and ice, then pull the espresso shots on top and then stir. He doesn’t pull the espresso shots for the lattes. He’s probably an owner or family member that is trying to save money by using old coffee that he doesn’t want to toss out instead of giving you actual fresh shots of espresso. When I go during the day, the ladies make the drinks correctly, but at night, nope, it’s just that same guy every single night, and I’ve finally found out why my niece’s iced lattes always tasted like watered down old coffee. I went in just to see what he’s been doing to her drinks. He’s a cheap employee trying to save money on syrups, milk, and espresso (cause he used less amounts of all that night). Just watch him make your lattes and you’ll see exactly what I mean. The dishonesty to get one over on the customers is disgusting. Lost...

I went there on Sunday for 2 large frozen butter pecan coffees and 1 blueberry muffin. They handed me a bag with my muffin so I broke off a piece of the muffin while I waited for my coffees. The muffin was a chocolate chip muffin not blueberry and it was so old it was dry and completely crumbled in small pieces. I told the 2 lady’s in the front that the muffins were old and I’d like a refund for the muffin. The lady at the register said “we can’t give you a refund we can give you donut.” I didn’t want donuts but i figured I’d give them to my kids. I handed them the bag with the muffin and they went to throw it away but decided to keep it and put it on the counter which was weird because I already touched it. She asked what donut I wanted so I said sprinkle and she put 1 donut in the bag. I explained that a muffin is 2.79 and a donut is $1 something so she made a face and put another in the bag. Whole time they had awful attitudes…… the donuts were also old so my kids didn’t even eat them. This has been my favorite dunkin but idk if I’ll be...

OK the Dunkin located on Dix in Lincoln Park, the staff is great super friendly but first the donuts, Where Are The Donuts! they only have a small selection. Now I don't go very early but by early afternoon they only have a very very small selection and they are not all fresh some are obviously day olds and this is almost any day I go back because I have a child that likes dunkin and since its close to home I guess I am hoping they will get better but so far it hasn't, and then there is the ice cream on that side of the store the roof is leaking right over the ice cream they have a small bucket there to collect the water that is obviously leaking into the ice cream so all the ice cream on the left side of the cooler looks a little melted and probably has a little roof water...
