Im at odds with this place. I'm not usually a fan of Mexican food but my in laws are all Hispanic and wanted to go. I was pleasently surprised by the quality of my meal though. It was really good and filling. Unfortunately this was not the cleanest of resteraunts and I saw an employee letting their 2 year old walk around behind the counter, even letting them wonder off in the kitchen while other employees were busy cooking. My family loved it here because the food reminds them of home, but I personally was not too happy with my visit. I wont be returning on my own, but the food was good enough that if they want to go I'll probably join them. If you really like Mexican food, you might enjoy this place. It's just not for me.

The place is a run-down hole in the wall, but sometimes those little run-down hole in the wall places are the best. so we gave it a try no it wasn't the best. the food was just OK, the staff were friendly, My biggest problem was it seemed like we weir just not welcome there. There was a table of Mexican dudes mean muggin my friend and I the whole time we ate our dinner. Now I understand that restaurant can't really control what their customers do. However, we just had a general feeling that we were not welcome. Not to mention the children running around unattended. (I think the children belonged to the employees) In short, it was not a very comfortable environment there.

We only stopped at this restaurant because we were starving for Mexican and it was the only place nearby still open. We even discussed not eating here because it was huge, empty, and very brightly lit. I definitely did not expect to get 3 meals in one for a VERY good price. I also didn't expect to find my new favorite burrito place in town. You gotta give this place a try!!!! The atmosphere wasn't my favorite and it was pretty chilly while we were eating but holy moly, I'll be back again for sure. The picture is what I couldn't eat of my massive burrito!

A few issues during my takeout experience. First I called the restaurant to ask about the soups and their prices. I was told one large caldo was 17 dollars when paying in cash and 18 with card. I wanted two so I figured they'd be 36 dollars...When going online to order, they were 8 dollars... I ordered two and with taxes it came to 22 dollars. When my husband went pick it up he was charged 26 though...

About the soups, the caldo de res was okay, but the meat was chopped in big blocks and was kind of hard. The lime was completely dried out, I swear not one drop of juice came out. The tortillas smelled like PERFUME (or cleaner/detergent?) And had a taste of cleaning product as well, I ate one and tossed the others all out. The menudo smelled like excrement. It was a very strong manure smell and obviously the belly was not cleaned properly. I saved it to eat the next day and was only upon heating it that I noticed. I immediately smelled an awful p**p smell and then was shocked and sad when I realized it was my dinner. It also left the unpleasant smell in my fridge and microwave. Yay. I didn't dare to taste, just threw it out too.

All in all, I do not...
