This place is completely and utterly clueless about ice cream❗️❗️❗️ EVERY ICE CREAM ESTABLISHMENT SHOWS YOU THE ICE CREAM THEY HAVE AVAILABLE -- not Ivanna Cone❗️ The service was absolutely horrible❗️ Two young girls who didn't give a damn about customer service or saying hi or anything....when I asked where the ice cream was, they said "back here" ....and I said Ummm what do you have???? And they pointed to this tiny azz board with about 10-15 weak azz disgusting flavors❗️❗️❗️❗️ NO CHOCOLATE, NO MINT, NO BUTTER PECAN, NO ROCKY ROAD, NO MOOSE TRACKS, hardly anything with any type of normal ice cream flavor❗️❗️❗️ Just college kid weak azz pathetic flavors....I WOULD AVOID THIS CHEAP IMITATION ICE CREAM SHOP AND RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN❗️❗️❗️ I am a midwest boy, and I originate from Europe....the midwest and Europe are kings of ice cream -- IVANNA CONE in Lincoln NE is probably the lowest of the lowest worthless ice cream places you could ever go to get anything resembling ice cream❗️ The owner of Ivanna Cone is CLUELESS AND UTTERLY IGNORANT about what ice cream is and what an ice cream store should be❗️❗️❗️❗️ STAY AWAY - IT IS NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR TIME GOING HERE -- you will leave sorely...

Unusual ice cream flavors that delight! They offer a rotating menu of flavors and occasional specials for events (such as Game of Thrones premieres). They also offer sundaes and the like. My favorite flavor i've ever had there is a Rosewater ice cream. The atmosphere is fun and playful, the staff are incredible kind and friendly. One time I went and got ice cream for myself and bringing back some for another person but I didn't have enough cash on me; they were totally understanding and gracious and let me pay with what I did have and forgave the rest! At busy times the shop can get very crowded and the line very long. Most people don't stay in the store to eat; there isn't much seating and gets cramped easily. However there is seating outside the building and since they are located smack dab in the haymarket, there's plenty to see and do if you want to walk around! One drawback is that they don't take cards or check--CASH ONLY. There is an ATM outside for this, but it would be wise to have some cash on you before you get to...

I LOVE their ice cream. So tasty and fresh flavors that are always new every time I go.

Tonight was the first time any of the staff had been rude, every other time they’re exceptional at service as well. But tonight at 10 min before closing as we got up to the counter the guy serving us said “ugh, we have to stop giving samples now, how else are we going to close on time!” To his co worker. Then “ok, you get one sample” to me. 🤷idk. I don’t get it. Seems like if you don’t like closing, maybe don’t take closing shifts. Everytime I worked them, i didn’t care when we closed because people tipped better when they knew we were trying to shut up shop, but served them well anyway.
