Licorice International Haymarket — Attraction in Lincoln

You lost longtime customers today. After a long absence we came back to our old Haymarket location. We discovered it had moved, but we took the time to find the new location on foot. When we got there I noticed a single employee that didn't seem too interested in waiting on me. It had been a long time since our previous visit so I asked for the usual free samples to recall which brands we used to buy. The employee said no, but we could choose from some 'fruit jelly?' samples she had in a clear plastic bento-looking box. I ordered their Black Licorice International Sampler for my dad for Father’s Day and it was a hit! The order shipped same day (I ordered early in the morning) and the sampler came wrapped in a lovely black bow. My dad is a huge licorice fan and travel nerd so he loved trying the different types from all over! His favorite was the Australian licorice. The 3lb was the perfect size for him to pass the container around for everyone to try a little bit! It was a great price too, especially compared to other options I looked at. Would highly recommend if you have a licorice lover...

A "Must-See" for licorice lovers and anyone who likes candy. The retail area is a bit "spartan", featuring one long wall of bins with dozens of varieties of licorice (and other candy) from around the world. I loved the ones from Finland but ended-up with more from the USA.

The sales-lady was knowledgeable and friendly, and VERY quick to offer free samples, including from the imported candies.

Most of the building is given over to warehouse/packing/shipping. They ship nationwide, so once you find a variety you like, you can order more, even if you live far...
