Le Quartier Bakery & Café - Edgewood — Restaurant in Lincoln

Le Quartier's chicken salad is very good! It is among my favorite. The breads, rolls and pastries are also outstanding.

We recently had lunch at the Edgewood location and it is, in my opinion, missing the mark. Our sandwiches, with kids, were the Cuban, the artichoke grilled cheese (I think that's correct...it wasn't mine), the kids grilled cheese, the kids turkey and the monthly special (roast beef, cheese, horseradish, etc). Each sandwich was quite boring. The sides (Couscous and Kale salad) were also quite underwhelming considering this is Le Quartier. I was disappointed (and the cost would be reasonable if the sandwiches and sides were really good, but it's on the high side given this). I'd give the lunch a 3 star and the other items a 5 star. Food was fine. Asked for decaf coffee and was out said they would brew only a couple of minutes. Daughter order sandwich and ate it and still no coffee. We have a South location of the best bakery in Lincoln. Come take a look! They have gelato, breakfast sandwiches, normal day sandwiches and of course a wide selection of bread. I always get a croissant and a cinnamon roll. When I come here. They also do fancy coffees, like the cappuccinos and mochas and such. Places to sit outside, I saw a family with their dog out there.
