We have loved Napoli's in the past, and have ordered from them quite a bit. But, tonight's poor food quality (delivery order) was the third and final straw. Previous two orders over the last 3 months have had one or two items cooked poorly or flat out wrong, but tonight ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING was pretty much inedible. My husband and I both ordered Veal Damabianca. The two orders were extremely poor quality and were obviously reheated leftovers. The Damabianca sauce was broken. His takeout dish had ALL of the mushrooms and veal, the mine was just sticky pasta swimming in oil, a very POOR PRESENTATION on top of everything else. The veal was chewy, like reheated meat tastes, and there were a few surprise pieces of tough grilled chicken mixed in as well. We also ordered a Taste of Italy with All Panna sauce to share as an appetizer. The Lasagna had a cold interior and tasted like OLD leftovers that needed to be thrown out days ago. The tortellini had singed edges poking out of the sauce from too much time spent under a warmer or broiler. The only dinner that was halfway edible was our daughter's veal parmesan. The veal cutlet in her dish was hot and tasted like the ONLY dinner that was cooked to order. My husband had also ordered eggplant Parmesan for his lunch tomorrow. The eggplant was a watery, mealy, gelatinous mess and tasted so old that it immediately went into the trash. As always, the only saving grace tonight were the desserts and the rolls. It's sad to have had such an overwhelmingly terrible dinner experience from a restaurant that we have spent a lot of $$$ ordering from. We've also recommended this restaurant to friends, family members, coworkers, etc., but never again. My husband has had years of experience in a small family-owned restaurant so we've been reluctant to post a review, but tonight's dinner was seriously over-the-top terrible. Napoli's, it's time to take a serious look at your food quality and the decision to serve old food. Not worth the cost of losing customers like us who spend $150 to $250 dollars each time we...
Read moreI've never actually been to Napoli's in person, but I just ordered some Doordash from them and was super impressed by the customer service! I ordered the tortellini alla vodka and a couple of desserts. The description on Doordash of the tortellini alla vodka says "Cooked cheese tortellini sauteed in vodka sauce." I'm allergic to tomatoes and the picture on Doordash shows tortellini with a white sauce, so I thought it would be safe to order. The pasta showed up to my house, and it was covered in a pink sauce, so I knew it had tomatoes in it. I called the restaurant to check to check what went wrong. I thought maybe they made it with the wrong sauce, but the manager, Alexis, with whom I spoke said it's made with 1/2 vodka sauce and 1/2 marinara. So, it turns out that the description and picture on Doordash aren't accurate. I told Alexis that I'm allergic to tomatoes and was just calling to find out which sauce the tortellini is supposed to be made with. Then, they went out of their way to have the kitchen make me a new tortellini dish with alfredo instead of marinara, and then they drove it all the way to my house. I only called the restaurant really to figure out what went wrong so I would know if I could request a refund on Doordash. I definitely did not expect them to go above and beyond like that and drive the new tortellini all the way to me! I was completely shocked and grateful at this amazing customer service!! Also, I live on the far west/airport side of town, and I'm fairly certain they drove this from Napoli's that is on the south side of town so I do not live anywhere close to where the food came from. This level of customer service is so incredibly rare these days, and I was so happy with the amazing service! Thank you Alexis! You rock!! (PS. The food was...
Read moreNapoli's is pleasant and has done a fair job converting a BBQ space into an Italian restaurant. The decor was appropriate and the music was both light and properly Italian sounding. There were a wide variety of dishes from baked pastas, to inexpensive sauced pastas, to high end seafood and steak dishes, along with an assortment of pizzas. Flavor wise, it was pretty conservative. I had to ask my guest if my taste buds were off because I wasn't getting any zing or intense flavors, but they agreed. It is a safe palate and has room to expand on bringing out each dish's signature flavor. The menu didn't mention the fact that bread and a side salad or soup was included with our pasta so we ordered mozzarella sticks to start, which ended up being quite a bit of food by the end of the meal. If I had to ask for one area to be improved upon, it would be to train the staff more. They were very pleasant and strove for proper etiquette, but missed on a few of the basics. Neither my soup, nor my pasta came with a spoon and I had to ask for one twice. Both times the spoon was brought out on a plate and I felt a bit guilty dirtying an extra dish just for a spoon. Also a server asked to borrow our parmesan cheese to refill it at 7 p.m. before our meal had arrived and never returned it for our food. I took one from another table which made it through the dinner, but then they came and asked to take that one as well when we were ready to pay. Generally you'd wait until the customer is done to take their seasonings for side work. Lastly, my water glass sat empty for about 5 minutes and I had to request that it be filled. All of that is easy enough to fix and the waiter's politeness made up for it. We'll be coming back in a couple months again to hopefully see the...
