Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Lincoln

I wound give this a no star. I ordered a hot tea and pastries in this Pete’s location in thunder Calle casino while I wait for my friend and later my friend went to the front to ask for a hot water refit for me. There were no one in the line so my friend went forward by the counter to get the attention of the staff. I came over to see why it was taking a while and saw that the staff called and assisted the new customers that came in. Ricotta said you have to be in that line not over to the counter and said she’ll only assist who was in the start of the line. So we have to go to the line.

We were shocked and told her that there were no customer earlier and that is why were by the counter. I went back to my table and waited until the last person in line.

While this staff were assisting a customer before me, she looked at me and said something. I told her I’ll wait till she’s done with the lady. She gesture her hand away to me and said “YOU CAN GO TO THE BAR…” and she was saying more that I didn’t hear/understand anymore as I was again SHOCKED. I then asked her, “You’re not going to give me a service?”

This is beyond inappropriate, it’s unspeakable and embarrassment not only to Thunder Valley Casino for associating with this Pete’s Coffee company that provide this type employee/staffservice but more to the Pete’s Coffee Corporate.

My friend made a call to the Thunder Valley management and was also transferred to the store to speak to the manager but the manager was not present on that day. Unfortunately, when the call was transferred to the store and my friend talked to Riccotta which turned out to be the team lead at the time.

It turned out that that team lead, Riccota is the person that disrespected my friend which we felt that it was a discrimination based on her orientation and the same person that hand gestured me shoo away and told me to go to the bar.

It made me think why this company hold this type of liability employee when there sure other deserving potential employee that can be more knowledgeable on what is customer service. I have worked in a restaurant before and we took pride in our customer level and how we give respect to each and every customer we have encountered. This is a big conflict to Pete’s Coffee that...

I'm not sure why this is so but I think these morning folk are afraid to make dark roast coffee sadly enough one of Peet's best selling copy is a major Dickinson and yet you wanting people just confused to have any dark roast available there's also the point of saying that they just ran out and won't be making any at the moment I find this obnoxious I find this demeaning that they must lie to state that they refuse to make dark roast coffee The reason most Peet's people became that was because of the dark roast well I will not be coming to this one anymore regardless of how many comps I get if these ladies and these people in the morning need to lie then so be it shame on you thunder valley for hiring people that cannot tell the truth instead of going through and doing their job You go to any store any peets store that is and if they are out of dark roast at the moment or any other flavor they will make it right then and there...

Three things I wish I'd known before going to this Peet's: This Peet's is a "partner location"; partner locations (like in supermarkets) don't usually appear in searches for "Peet's" on google maps, but this does. As a "partner location" it doesn't honor Peet's cards or app. Since this is in a casino, there is smoking in the building. That might be a positive for some, but not me. I guess casinos operate under different rules and smoking is allowed in the building. Google maps guided me not to a legitimate parking location and not even to a legitimate entrance, but rather to one of many service bays on what is otherwise a blank wall at the back this...
