Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Lincoln

I was in runza. I ordered 2 meals, then I ordered 2 shakes..regular and the cashier showed me 2x the size of the regular shake..she made me feel like I was not speaking english..I am american..and I had 2 downs syndrome people with me and customers behind me wondering what the problem was..I came away feeling embarrassed, for what I'm not sure..but that's not good customer care..it was at 6:30pm on 5/31/18. Was she being prejudice against me because of the downs people or was she really wondering what size shakes I wanted..I could not tell..my instinct is not to come back to that runza..but that's the one I usually go to..when I'm in the...

This is the Runza we go to the most since it's close. Playplace was great when my kids were younger. A bit pricey for fast food. Quality has been inconsistent. Sometimes the burgers are decent, sometimes kind of gnarly. The ice cream seems to vary as well. Sometimes smooth and creamy, other times stiff and icey. The last few times I went there, once our fries were undercooked and soft, the next time, overcooked and tasted like they'd been fried in the same oil as fish. This used to be our favorite runza since it was kid friendly and has a play equipment. Our last 2 visits have been disappointing. Today we came to redeem our reading program coupons for free ice creams and the man behind the counter gave us tiny sample dishes the lady next to him said they get regular sized for those coupons and the guy just kept giving us the tiny ones. He seems like he probably shouldn't be working the front counter since he seems pretty unhappy with it. Won't be coming back to...
