We’ve been loyal fans of Taqueria El Rey for about 3 years now which officially makes this the longest relationship I’ve had with any tacos (don’t tell the others). My wife and I usually go for the ground beef tacos, and let me tell you, they never miss. The chips and salsa? So good they should come with a warning label: Highly Addictive.

The service is always friendly, the vibe is chill, and the food hits the spot every single time. Honestly, if this place ever closed down, we’d probably start a support group.

One small request though… can we get a salsa with some serious kick? Maybe a ghost pepper or Carolina Reaper option for those of us who like to live dangerously and clear our sinuses while we’re at it!

Highly recommend just don’t eat all the chips before...

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a mexican restaurant. I had the two ground beef enchiladas and two chicken flautas...both entreés we're extremely dry and almost hard to swallow. The beans lacked salt, and rice was mediocre. My friend and I waited 30 minutes for our drinks, mind you the restaurant was dead and we were the only ones in there. The waiters we're just sitting around the counter messing around and yelling at each other. We didn't get our drinks till after our food came out which we had to ask for again but with a different waiter. Probably never going back again. I'll stick with...

This restaurant blew me away. The service was very quick, and the food was on another level. I ordered the Birria Tacos and a Carne Sope. The sope was so good I don’t think I can eat one anywhere else, and the tacos were equally to par. My partner ordered a burrito, he said it was the best burrito he ever ate in his life. It never came apart, and was loaded with all the fillings. I think we both agreed that this will be our new stop when we...

TACO BOUT DELICIOUS! My coworker had been here before and suggested it. I'm always down for tacos, so I said yes. Best tacos I've had in the state of Nebraska. The chorizo was exquisite and the carne asada was tender and juicy. It all went down easy with a big glass of horchata, and made my belly feel full and warm on a snowy winter's day.

Great authentic food, made fresh for you. The burrito and quesadilla are both very filling, especially the El Ray burrito. Sauce is a must for the El Ray as the ground beef needed more seasoning. Front counter staff spoke both English and Spanish, overall a great place. Keep in mind their hours are different depending on the day.
