As a self-proclaimed Middle Eastern food enthusiast and a traveler who has explored numerous countries renowned for their culinary delights, I had the privilege of visiting Fattoush restaurant with high expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into this gastronomic oasis, I was spellbound by the enchanting ambiance that seamlessly blended modern aesthetics with authentic Middle Eastern charm.
Upon entering, the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant's attentive and friendly service instantly made me feel at home, reinforcing the notion that this place takes pride in treating its guests like family.
The menu at Fattoush is a masterpiece that reflects the rich tapestry of Middle Eastern flavors, showcasing a diverse array of dishes from across the region. Being a connoisseur of Middle Eastern cuisine, I was impressed by the variety of traditional dishes, as well as creative twists that showcased the chef's ingenuity.
I started my culinary journey with the iconic mezze platter, an assortment of small dishes that tantalized my taste buds with an explosion of flavors and textures. The hummus was velvety and perfectly seasoned, the baba ghanoush was smoky and luscious, and the falafel, crisp on the outside and tender inside, was a testament to their dedication to quality.
Next came the salads, and Fattoush's rendition of the eponymous dish was an absolute revelation. Bursting with freshness, the salad was a harmonious blend of crisp vegetables, tangy sumac, and aromatic mint, that elevated it to a whole new level.
As a Middle Eastern myself, I have savored kebabs from various regions, but the succulent skewers at Fattoush were a cut above the rest. Each bite of the tender, well-marinated meat was a journey to the heart of Middle Eastern grilling mastery. The accompanying aromatic rice and grilled vegetables complemented the kebabs impeccably.
One of the highlights of my dining experience was the diverse range of main courses, representing Middle Eastern cuisine's true essence. From slow-cooked stews to hearty rice dishes, each item was a masterpiece crafted with love and culinary finesse. The flavors brought back cherished memories of family gatherings and traditional feasts.
The prices at Fattoush restaurant pleasantly surprised me, considering the exceptional quality and generous portion sizes. They have managed to strike a perfect balance between providing a top-tier dining experience and ensuring it remains accessible to a broad audience.
In conclusion, Fattoush restaurant is a gem among Middle Eastern eateries, and it has surpassed all my expectations. As someone who has explored the culinary landscapes of various Middle Eastern countries, I can confidently say that Fattoush reigns supreme. If you haven't had the pleasure of dining here, you are undoubtedly missing out on an experience that transcends mere sustenance and delves into the realm of culinary delight.

Read moreWe stopped by for a bite to eat while passing through and came out of here just overjoyed by the food and experience. My wife picked it out a bit ahead of time and she's pretty good at finding gems, so I already knew it was going to be great. The owner and employees were incredibly kind and the restaurant was spotless. This place had a bidet in the restroom. I didn't use it, because I didn't have to go #2, but still! Give me a job here and teach me how to make your delicious food and I'll never spend more than 5 minutes using the bathroom (even though I love a good bidet cleansing) and I'll always wash my hands thoroughly afterwards. I digress. The food was so tasty and very fresh. After one taste of the hummus we were back up at the counter ordering a larger portion of it. It was so smooth and flavorful. Everything was so good, the rice, the fresh pitas, all of it! It is also the only restaurant I've ever been to that has good baklava. It was fresh, flaky and nutty and had just the perfect amount of honey. We bought three more pieces to go on the way out. I only hope that we'll be hungry when we pass through on the...
Read moreWonderful establishment, it's a very simple, straightforward menu that's easy to view right when you walk in, and the wait times aren't bad at all for the amount of fresh food you're getting. Not a super-quick bite if that's what you're after, plan to sit and enjoy a bit.
Food is brought out to you, and you pay at the end. I always bring cash to help skip the card fees for them. Drinks are from a stand-up cooler a la gas station, and are very reasonably priced, grab whatever you're after.
Food is, simply put, excellent. I enjoy this genre of food quite a bit and have always been a die-hard Sultan's Kite fan, these guys have edged them out for my top spot in Lincoln for Mediterranean.
Owner is local and one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of interacting with, it's apparent he just loves making good food and it shows in his work.
Only minor critique is the last couple of times I've been in, the trash has been overflowing to the point of not being able to fit our plates into the can. After seeing the can also overflowing out back, not sure if they need to up their frequency or what, but very minor...
