We got on the waitlist at home and a short 95 minutes later 😆 we were seated. Yummy rolls, obligatory Cactus Blossom. I got the Country Plate where you can pick 4 sides. Love the salad, asked for extra egg which they didn't even charge me for 😮. Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes were meh this time. Lastly a cup of meaty Chili to bestow on my husband.
They brought out our salads, his a Caesar, followed by 2 cups of Chili. We only ordered one so he got bonus Chili 🥳. He chose the 12 oz Ft. Worth Ribeye, smothered with mushrooms and onions. Also the Mash with Gravy. Supposed to be mid-rare, was definitely medium-well 😕. Like he said though, you can't uncook a steak.
Lastly since it just happened to be National Margarita Day I tried their $5 house marg. It was surprisingly yummy. I'd order it again.
This place is always busy but it seemed to be even more so. People waiting Everywhere, we parked so far away. Our server Justin did pretty well at keeping up, the whole staff was running around like crazy. On our way out there was a fight in the parking lot 😵. Good times!
Had to start with a Cactus Blossom. It's one of the main reasons I eat here. Their shipment of onions must have been on the smaller side this time cuz I don't think we've ever killed it in one sitting before. Amazing signature Rolls w/ cinnamon butter. Still one of the best Salads, no tomatoes and extra eggs for me... love it!
My husband ordered some kinda Meaty-ness Combo. The Ribs were good and 12 oz Ribeye was a perfect Medium-Rare, upgraded to Smothered in mushrooms and onions. Sides of Gravy covered potatoes and Corn for him.
Youngest got Mini Cheeseburgers kids meal with Applesauce. Medium-sized child chose the Grilled Chicken kids meal with potatoes. She wasn't too thrilled with it but I ordered her a cup of Chili on my Country Veg Plate which she devoured. Mine was rounded out by a Mac & Cheese upgrade and Potatoes. We all seemed to get like a half scoop of mash this time for some reason 🫤.
I don't think we've ever had bad service here, our server Meghan was particularly on top of it. We never wanted...

Tonight we had a group of 8 and our server was having a rough day. Totally understandable. I ordered steak and ribs and my steak was still raw. Also understandable.
Texas Roadhouse gets packed, and with our dining scenario I don't blame anyone for any mistakes as every single need was met. Even though we got a different server. She greeted us with a smile and juggled our table and other tables as well. In great fashion too.
Since my steak was raw they made a new one with a new side as well. A wonderful gentleman brought it out and I cannot stop saying how great the staff was. They greeted us with nothing but respect and care. The managers were very kind, generous and willing to work with us every step of the way.
Good management is always a good sign.
Not only that but the food was incredibly delicious. The ribs are just amazing. Their appetizers are great.
The hardest part was the bill because it was split between a few couples. A gentleman in a blue shirt and earpiece tried many many times to get everything right on the tickets, since our first server was not there.
He was able to get everyone taken care of and get us on our way.
Texas Roadhouse is great. And this location is awesome. Love the awesome staff there :) Through all the craziness they always made sure we had exactly what we needed and that was...
Read moreI visited Texas Roadhouse with my wife last Wednesday at 8 PM, expecting a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Despite ordering our lemonades with no ice, they arrived with ice and tasted watered down, which was disappointing from the start.
We were looking forward to our main course, a filet mignon for my wife and a 12 oz ribeye for myself, both requested medium rare. However, the steaks did not live up to our request. My wife's filet mignon was undercooked at rare, while my ribeye was overcooked to medium well. After sending my wife's steak back, it returned with minimal difference, still underdone. I chose not to send my meal back, considering the lengthy wait we already experienced.
It was apparent that the restaurant was not busy, leading us to believe that our orders would be handled with care. Unfortunately, it seemed our server was not attentive to our needs, and the manager's response to our dissatisfaction – a mere $12 discount – felt inadequate, not even covering the cost of one meal. This gesture did not align with the level of service we expected, nor did it compensate for the evening's disappointments.
This visit was a letdown, particularly because we know Texas Roadhouse can offer much more based on previous experiences. We hope this feedback leads to improvements in service and attention to detail...
