Every time I go to this McDonald’s I have issues this time that I went was late I believe it was 3:45AM but it’s 24 hours or so they say twice now I’ve been told they are closed and they would open shortly, ok if a Restaurant is going to advertise it’s 24 hours that means 24 hours not when you feel like opening needless to say I left and went to Cherryville McDonald’s where the employees proceeded to tell me the employees didn’t show up for work at the Lincolnton store but when I came thru the drive thru there was one male employee at the back door and a female answered the drive thru which is two employees at 3:45 AM two employees is more then enough to handle drive thru orders so to me I think they where just trying to make the best out of the situation and not have to work or make the situation seem bigger then it was by not taking orders either way it’s very poor customer service and seems like it’s poor management also cause you the manager should have been taking orders and working multiple stations as I have done being a store manager at Dunkin Donut’s and employees didn’t show up I had to take those employees place at multiple positions and yes I’ve been the only one there from 5AM to almost 8AM and my customers understood with explanation to them I was short staffed and by myself but I didn’t even get that or a high how are you just straight “Sorry I’m currently closed right now but we will reopen shortly” that was it...

Starting at the drive up order speaker I order my hamburger and then asked what caffeine free soda they had and the lady responded with all the diet sodas , I then asked her which sodas were caffeine free not diet, she said, and I quote "I don't know what caffeine is", so I just ordered a regular soda. Then I pulled up to the pay window and the lady opens her window and just looks at me, doesn't tell me how much it is or anything, so I ask" how much is it " and her response was "didn't they tell you over the speaker" . That set me back, it was soo rude ! I replied " yes they did but I want to verify it". Then she told me the amount and I handed her money and started explaining to her that I wanted to verify that I am paying for my order and not someone else's because they have a double drive up order line and sometimes they get it mixed up. Well she just closed her window while I was explaining this to her (rude again !). Then she opened her window gave me my change and that was it, did not say thank you or anything. Soo rude ! I have to say the guy who handed me my food at next window was much better than the other 2 ladies. I let him know that his order taker didn't know what caffeine was and he was very customer friendly, the other 2 ladies desperately need some customer service training and training on what products they sell. Read moreYears ago this use to be the most popular fast food restaurants in Lincolnton. I love a double quarter pounder. When they use to run specials on the regular quarter pounder two for two. Trust me, we stocked up at the garage , it was the perfect midnight snack. Things changed when they hired a lot of kids, especially at night now that the drive -thru is open 24 hours. Check your food people if you go threw the drive- thru day or night. I bet they hold the record for putting the wrong items in bags or giving you the person behind you in lines order. I like McDonald's they have great tasting burgers that fill you up. The staff needs a little more training, maybe if they didn't have a phone vibrating in their back pockets every ten minutes things might improve back to the way they use to be here at this one. Restaurant is always clean when you go inside, day time staff is friendly also. Lots of traffic goes in and out of here regardless of their small mistakes. A little note to those leaving the restaurant, if you look you will see a sign they have placed that says "RIGHT TURN ONLY". It's put there by McDonalds for your safety and to keep the flow of traffic moving around the building. I have noticed there are still a lot of people that don't know...
