Linden is a neighborhood that was once all Polish. Not so much now, but it still attracts many Polish patrons wanting to drink and eat the familiar cuisine. Located on West Price Street off of a busy Wood Avenue and highly recommended, some of my colleagues came to this hidden gem, Amsterdam Alley for lunch. Upon arrival, the establishment isnât a large building and has outdoor seating available. Upon entering, the inside has a front room with a bar and several high-top tables. The back room has standard-height tables. Both rooms have several TVs. It's inviting, charming, rustic, and very clean. We were greeted by the staff and decided on a table in the back room. Our server, Kasia, was informative and accommodating. There were several menus given to us: the main had a big variety of Polish classics; todayâs special; and lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu and got six pieces of pierogis with mushroom soup, a Polish-style mushroom-stuffed baguette, and a grilled Polish kielbasa sandwich with sautĂ©ed onions and pickles, accompanied by fries. The food was excellent, fresh, and authentically Polish! However, there was a small incident with the soup, but our server was able to rectify the problem. The portions were just right, and the prices were amazing. We could...

Weird name I know, but it was so so good. Two of those and it happy tipsy đ€Ș. My daughter had woo woo. It came on a martini glass and it was good as well. My daughter had the salmon. It was out if this world. It came with coliflower, carrots đ„broccoli. They were too crunchy for her but I thought they were perfect the shrimp salad was good but not my favorite. Now my plate was beyond beyond great. I had the Amterdam pork cutlet stuffed with delicious mushrooms đcheese and lots of love. I did not know when I ordered that it was a fried plate. Everything tastes đmuch better fried. When cut it open out came powring this delicious mix of mushrooms and cheese so so so good. That Plate came with fries that were cook to perfection.    Read moreI tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and was extremely pleased. The restaurant has a large bar and 2 seating areas which offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. There is also an outdoor seating area. Food was excellent, menu is quite extensive with Polish and non Polish items. We had sea bass and stuffed cabbage, both of which were delicious, served with 2 sides, one of which were 3 different Polish salads which was a really nice touch since they were all great. Desert and coffee were fantastic and cocktails were well made and reasonably priced, especially for this area. From the moment you walked in Izabela made you feel at home and welcome, never rushed and the service throughout was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you have never been there check it out, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait until...
