Linden is a neighborhood that was once all Polish. Not so much now, but it still attracts many Polish patrons wanting to drink and eat the familiar cuisine. Located on West Price Street off of a busy Wood Avenue and highly recommended, some of my colleagues came to this hidden gem, Amsterdam Alley for lunch. Upon arrival, the establishment isn’t a large building and has outdoor seating available. Upon entering, the inside has a front room with a bar and several high-top tables. The back room has standard-height tables. Both rooms have several TVs. It's inviting, charming, rustic, and very clean. We were greeted by the staff and decided on a table in the back room. Our server, Kasia, was informative and accommodating. There were several menus given to us: the main had a big variety of Polish classics; today’s special; and lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu and got six pieces of pierogis with mushroom soup, a Polish-style mushroom-stuffed baguette, and a grilled Polish kielbasa sandwich with sautĂ©ed onions and pickles, accompanied by fries. The food was excellent, fresh, and authentically Polish! However, there was a small incident with the soup, but our server was able to rectify the problem. The portions were just right, and the prices were amazing. We could recommend this place.

This is a fantastic little place tucked away in a busy town. It's relatively small but there is outdoor seating available. The atmosphere here is upbeat and has a fantastic energy. Our bartender had so many good stories to tell. I ordered some food to go with my drinks and I am so glad I did. The pierogies were delicious just as I thought and the mushroom stuffed baguette was so good. I ate every dang piece of food on my plate! I will definitely go back to try somemmore.of the menu.

I was craving authentic Polish food and we were not disappointed! This was well-worth the 30 minute drive! Kielbasa appetizer was to die for, pierogies were amazing, and my husband had the stuffed cabbage. I also brought home the borscht soup with mushroom dumplings for my daughter who said it was delicious! This quaint little restaurant/bar is definitely a hidden gem that I will most certainly return to to try different menu items.

I love 💘love it. I had the sample platter as a starter . It had the most delicious Buffalo wings. It had the right amount of spice. The tender were juicy in the inside and crispy on the out side. Their perogies were fried. It was my first time eating them that way. There were pretty 😍👌good. To drink I had Martian urine. Weird name I know, but it was so so good. Two of those and it happy tipsy đŸ€Ș. My daughter had woo woo. It came on a martini glass and it was good as well. My daughter had the salmon. It was out if this world. It came with coliflower, carrots đŸ„•broccoli. They were too crunchy for her but I thought they were perfect the shrimp salad was good but not my favorite. Now my plate was beyond beyond great. I had the Amterdam pork cutlet stuffed with delicious mushrooms 🍄cheese and lots of love. I did not know when I ordered that it was a fried plate. Everything tastes 😋much better fried. When cut it open out came powring this delicious mix of mushrooms and cheese so so so good. That Plate came with fries that were cook to perfection. Other people there said that is the.beat place for perogies too....

I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and was extremely pleased. The restaurant has a large bar and 2 seating areas which offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. There is also an outdoor seating area. Food was excellent, menu is quite extensive with Polish and non Polish items. We had sea bass and stuffed cabbage, both of which were delicious, served with 2 sides, one of which were 3 different Polish salads which was a really nice touch since they were all great. Desert and coffee were fantastic and cocktails were well made and reasonably priced, especially for this area. From the moment you walked in Izabela made you feel at home and welcome, never rushed and the service throughout was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you have never been there check it out, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait until...
