Blaze Gourmet Burgers — Restaurant in Linden

Owners (husband and wife team) are from Columbia. Which was surprising why they would start a franchise from Vancouver, Canada. However, they were wonderful hosts.

On to the food, I ordered the blaze chicken burger. Remember the Popeye’s hype and gimmick (was not available for a while which built up such a frenzy to get it) from a few years ago? Well, that was a total let down. It sure didn’t live up to the hype. Tried it once and have never ordered it again.

I love chicken—what Singaporean doesn’t!? I’ve tried all the chicken burgers from the local fast food joints and your Red Robin’s, etc. and so far — meh! None I would rave about.

Until now.

The Blaze Chicken Burger is the best damn chicken burger I’ve ever had. Bar none. It was really crispy yet incredibly juicy. Many chicken burgers are somewhat dry. Not this one. And the flavors—wow! I’m definitely going back again. And again.

Pricy burgers. But worth it.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 3 stars is because it is Elizabeth…don’t get me wrong—the place is very clean, and a decent place to dine in. I guess it’s more the quiet plaza it’s in…more than anything else. There was no one else dining there while I was waiting. However, a number of Uber Eat drivers came in to pick up orders.

No matter, I’m going back there for their Chicken burger. Will post an update if I try...

I never understood why this place doesn't have more customers whenever I go. It definitely deserves more consideration from people.

The burgers here are phenomenal. If you are a burger head like me I don't think you will be disappointed. Though the price may seem off-putting at first, you quickly realize you get what you pay for.

The quality of the ingredients is obvious, all coming together to provide a great tasting experience. So far I've had the Classic Blaze and the Chipotle Chicken Burgers. The fries and onion rings are also very good!

My only gripe is that the sandwiches can be messy to eat because they don't cheap out on the portion size. But who exactly is gonna argue for having too much of a good thing?

Service is always great and pleasant. The restaurant is always very clean too. And usually when you are done with your meal the server will give you a free chocolate chip cookie and a coupon for 10% off your next order! Very kind of them.

They have a happy hour 2pm-5pm where you can save a bit on your meal as well. Highly recommend anyone at least give this...

Very impressive! Food was so good and well seasoned we ate the food so fast without even taking a picture. My bf ordered the Bacon & Brie and he inhaled that burger! He claimed that it was so good he finished it in an instant. I got the Crispy Chicken Blaze and that chicken was so seasoned well it did not disappoint. They’re doing this buy 1, get 1 burger for free right now so don’t hesitate, definitely worth a try! We also got free cookies - so scrumptious. Definitely will be coming back and will surely be a new go-to spot for us. Oh and service is topnotch, very friendly crew!

Update 9/23/24: I don’t know what happened, but visited again recently. Ordered those same two and got very disappointed. Just doesn’t taste the same anymore, or lack of taste actually. The seasoning that I raved before I couldn’t taste. My bf and I had to force ourselves to finish our food this time. Very sad. Service is still great, just sad the food just...
