Blue Sunday: A Culinary Symphony and Jazzy Delight! From the moment I stepped into Blue Sunday, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a perfect backdrop for what turned out to be an absolutely exceptional dining experience. But let's get straight to the star of the show: the short ribs. Words truly struggle to capture the sheer perfection of this dish. Cooked to a level that transcends mere tenderness, these short ribs practically melted on my tongue. They weren't just falling off the bone; they were surrendering with a sigh of smoky, savory bliss. Each bite was an explosion of rich, deep flavor that left me wanting more, yet completely satisfied. This is, without a doubt, one of the finest renditions of short ribs I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. And the excellence didn't stop there. The accompanying mashed potatoes were equally impressive. Often an afterthought, these were clearly crafted with care and attention to detail. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the creamy texture without overpowering it. They were the ideal comforting counterpoint to the robust flavor of the short ribs. To complement the exquisite food, Blue Sunday boasts a top-shelf drink menu. The cocktails were expertly crafted, using high-quality ingredients that elevated each sip. Whether you're a fan of classic concoctions or prefer something a bit more adventurous, their drink selection is sure to impress. But the true "icing on the cake" – or perhaps the soulful riff at the end of a perfect set – was the live jazz on Wednesday. The smooth melodies and captivating rhythms created an ambiance that was both sophisticated and utterly relaxing. It transformed a wonderful meal into a truly memorable evening. The music wasn't just background noise; it was an integral part of the Blue Sunday experience, adding a layer of charm and elegance that is rare to find. Blue Sunday isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the impeccably cooked food and expertly crafted drinks to the delightful live jazz, every element is thoughtfully curated to create a truly exceptional outing. If you're looking for a place to indulge your taste buds, unwind in a sophisticated setting, and perhaps even sway to some fantastic tunes, look no further than Blue Sunday. I wholeheartedly recommend it and can't wait for...
Read moreDisappointing End 1st time customers at Blue Sunday to celebrate a 50th Birthday celebration. 13 people on total, reservation made well in advance for Saturday, January 25 at 4:30pm. Arrived early, upon arriving, was told we needed to be done before 6:30pm for another large party. Positives - The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated, and has a good ambiance. The food presentation was well done along with the quality and taste. However, the food did take some time to come out, we didn't receive our entrees until about 6pm, with 3 guest waiting an additional almost 10 minutes for their meal after the other 10 guest meals arrived. Negative - Upon all the guest finishing their meal and asking for to go containers so we they could bring out the birthday cake for our birthday guest, the maitre d came over to the dinner to tell us we had to wrap it up as the next party had arrived. At this point, we hadn't even been in the restaurant for 2 hours. We had to let him know we hadn't even brought the cake out and just had received our food at about 6 pm. Feeling disappointed and frustrated at this point as there was another large party (about 15+ people) sitting behind us that were there way before we arrived and still there, this felt insulting, that we were now being completely rushed out. They brought the cake out of nowhere and placed it down and just started to sing very unorganized and extremely rushed. It is unfortunate that we were made to hurry up the most important part of the birthday celebration (it was RUINED). As you can imagine, this was a HUGE and I stress HUGE bill paid to Blue Sunday, and it was a very sad ending of the birthday celebration. All 13 people felt rushed and out of sorts. As customers, we don't control the kitchen/chefs or how your waiters come to the table for orders, etc. Inconveniencing your paying customers and rushing them is BAD business. You only get returning customers for an experience that is outstanding from beginning to end. Needless to say, that was 13 customers that could have returned with potentially more customers that won't be RETURNING!! Customer service is essential and should always be top-notch....

Google only allows one review per spot, so I have to combine both of my visits here. It’s longer than usual, but worth the read if you’re serious about good food and service.
First Visit – 9/20 Blue Sunday set the bar high right away. They didn’t even ask for a card upfront, which already gave it a relaxed vibe.
We ordered the Crab Dip ($19) served with cheesy baguette slices—creamy, loaded with crab, easy 10/10. My best friend had the Peach Fizz ($14)—vodka, peach schnapps, pineapple, and Prosecco. Refreshing but landed at a 7/10 for her.
For mains, the Beef Short Ribs ($42) were braised, bone-in, and glazed with bourbon sauce. So tender they fell right off the bone. The Scottish Salmon ($36) was pan-seared with honey ginger sauce—crispy edges, buttery center, sauce tied it all together.
Our server Isabella was amazing—genuine, helpful, and all her recommendations delivered.
Second Visit – 9/21 I came back the very next day for my best friend’s mom’s birthday, and that alone says a lot.
We started with the Crab Dip again and added Crispy Chicken Wings (8 for $16, mumbo flavor). Both were standouts—you can’t even pick a winner between the two.
My entrée was the Ribeye Steak (12oz, $40), cooked medium plus. Juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned with a pink center. Exactly how a steakhouse would serve it, except this is Blue Sunday Bar & Grill.
For dessert, our server Ann Marie surprised my best friend mother with a chocolate chunk brownie while singing Happy Birthday. It looked so good I ordered one myself—warm brownie with chips, chocolate drizzle, blueberries, and ice cream that actually tasted homemade.
Ann Marie made the whole night smooth—polite, attentive, and focused on the small details that elevate the entire experience.
Final Takeaway Blue Sunday isn’t just hype. Two nights in a row proved it’s consistent, welcoming, and unforgettable. From Isabella to Ann Marie, the staff make it feel personal, and the food makes it impossible not to come back. I’ll be running it back until I try...
