Johnny Prince's Bayway Diner — Restaurant in Linden

I saw this place on the web and that guy fieri said it was the best dinner in the country for the price and size of the portions he even did his show there we went the line was out the door around 12:20 lunch time we waited about 20 minutes to get a seat we wanted to sit inside not order out I saw them hotdogs on their website I got them on the money deep fried then onto the hot grill for a few minutes dead on my kids enjoy the chicken sandwich we will be back i am going for the cheese steak next plenty of police, fire department and town worker's and truck drivers there that's when you know it's the spot ps one person came in and ordered the cheese steak and said no lie just give me half the amount of meat and peppers and onions when I got it a few months ago it was took much to eat he said that statement says it all !! And very friendly staff the cooks and waitress work there but...

A True Monster Burger!

Ordered: The Monster Burger (well done, no Taylor Ham), Ginger Ale (to wash it all down).

Don't let the size of this place fool you. There are true large Monster Burgers inside! Although seating is limited I managed to get a seat and enjoy my Monster Burger uninterrupted. This is not a frozen burger and was cooked fresh and to perfection on the grille. The Burger is so large I asked that it be cut in half in order to properly bite into it. After consuming such a delicious burger I was infused with so much natural energy I was able to lap the mall 6 times over. Trust me you don't just want to sit around after eating this.

Due to size of the location and lack of indoor seating I recommend calling ahead, but please do not miss out nor be discouraged from trying this truly awesome Monster Burger. You will feel truly heroic...

I went to this place for lunch, and upon arrival, I ordered a steak that cost $35. My cousin ordered a seafood platter, my nephew ordered pasta, and my son ordered a hamburger. The waitress was excellent, but the food quality was very disappointing. The steak seemed spoiled, the seafood was rancid, and my nephew's pasta lacked flavor. My son's hamburger was greasy. We also ordered three soft drinks and two orange juices, and the total bill was $145, but because of the great service, we left $170. When we were leaving, the owner, Johnny, stopped me to ask if I had left the money, which I found disrespectful.
