Uncle Louie G's "Italian ice & Ice cream" — Restaurant in Linden

Nice neighborhood spot with the best customer service! I'm familiar with Uncle Louie G's from all over NYC and it was nice to see one out in a small town. The owners of this franchise were courteous and welcoming, explaining the different flavors and varieties on their menu. They even offered and encouraged samples of their tasty frozen treats. The decor is inviting and spacious; a perfect place to enjoy ice cream. I wish them all the success becauase their shop definitely brings a good vibe to the strip of stores along St. George.

Would have given 5 stars if there was adequate parking. Not the establishment's fault but a major under sight of the town of Linden for not making those businesses down St. George accessible to car or foot traffic. We had to park across the street and play chicken just to cross St. George!

If I were a gig worker picking up ice cream for a delivery, it would be a nightmare to get to this location. Other than that I would highly recommend this...

I had ordered on the UberEats app after craving something sweet. After discovering that they made an Italian ice and ice cream place close to home, I wanted to try it out after driving by a few days ago. I order the warm brownie sundae in the app and got a call from them right after on how they ran out of the warm brownie for the sundae. They offered me a regular original or the banana split, I went for the banana as I love it as well. I really appreciated them calling me to help me choose a substitute for my order. They even placed a little cup of brownie pieces for me which was so sweet of them. I didn’t take a picture of the banana split as I devoured it because how delicious it was. 100% coming back and really appreciate how sweet and attentive...

The ice cream is delicious, but this place is overly overpriced. I went in for 2 cones, 2 cups and I picked up 6 ice cream sandwiches from the freezer and when the young woman rang me up it was $75. She told me that the ice cream sandwiches were $33. I can go to the BX and get tubs of the icees for $7 at Deliciouso Helado, pay the toll and still have enough to get a container of ice cream for the amount...
