Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lindström

Ok. I've been a resident of Lindstrom for over a year and have been here many times. It's a fast food joint so you can expect some ups and downs but it has gotten ridiculous with the Lindstrom DQ. Idk what's happening with this place or if there is any management AT ALL but it's terrible. Eating in the restaurant is ok, usually much better than the drive through but even the last time I went my burger was cold the moment I got it. Tonight I went to the drive through for a simple dinner for me and my husband and, as usual, the wait was ridiculously long. Only 3 people in line, it's after 9pm, so there really was no good reason. After a short drive home the burgers were cold and sloppy. Mine completely fell apart, almost like the bun was so soggy from maybe sitting around? Definitely not freshly made. Got slushies, when she handed them to me they were already half melted.. didn't say anything even when I made a comment. People are paying for food. Yes it's fast food but come on. Are there any adults that work here? Very friendly staff but I don't think I've ever seen an older adult working or managing.. won't plan on...

Severely understaffed, which is not their fault in these current times, however the staff that was there, was really struggling. Ordered in the lobby "to go". Food was good, service not so much. They have order numbers on the receipt, but don't use them. And since they have a fair amount of "popular" items, they were constantly giving the blizzard to the guy that just ordered, where the guy that ordered the same one 10 min before still hadn't received his! Staff seemed crabby! Really? Cashier kind of threw an older gentlemen his change. They literally ignored the customers at the counter for long periods of time. It looked like they took care of about a half dozen vehicles in the drive through for every "one" customer in the lobby. And they ALL moved like TURTLES. Seriously people, you are busy!! Move! The food was correct, and tasted good, which is more than I can say for most of their competition. But these younger staff need an education in attitude...

Went to this location for dinner with the kids. When we walked in all the employees started yelling at one another. While waiting for someone to take my order, I don't know how many looked at me and just walked away without even asking if I had been helped (which I hadn't) they where not busy at all. The dinning area was disgusting floors sticky, tables all dirty. The pop machine had no pops in it besides 2 and no one could refill it. Two younger men behind the counter proceeded to play the knife game with there hands instead of handing me our ice cream that was made and sitting there. I really hope the owner has working cameras and will proceed to go back and watch them.
