We went here looking for a different pizza experience. We wanted authentic Chicago style pizza without having to go anywhere near there. 😉. We were not disappointed. I called ahead and ordered. I mentioned that I was 40 minutes away. It was timed perfectly. We arrived, gave our drink order, and our appetizer came out with the drinks. Our waitress said your pizza will be out in just a couple minutes, and it was. It was fresh from the oven, and perfectly timed. On top of that, we had exceptional, friendly service. The man that answered the phone and took our order, also went above and beyond. This was our first visit, and we will be back. Not to mention, it was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Nancy’s for their Chicago style pizza.

Such a super yummy Chicago-style deep dish. :) Each large pizza has eight slices. One slice, and you FEEL it. Two, and you're sufficiently full. On a scale of adequately grown adults to hungry teenagers, 1-3 slices were enough per person. We had three adult-sized people and only mostly consumed five slices. The bill was around $50, with tax and appetizer. The stringy cheese is definitely present on this pizza! Loaded Bacon Ceasar Waffle fries were, in my opinion, just good. I probably will not order them again, though, because, in my opinion, the Ceasar was extra abundant. But the pizza, that is the reason for the visit. Recommend! :) *This picture is our to-go box in the car ride. Apologies that it is not fresh out of the oven, but I am a hungry person.

If your plastered on a Monday night than this is the pizza for you but if you just worked 12 hours and are expecting a mighty fine pizza then don’t bother with this place i ordered a $40 for a large family sized pizza I wouldn’t give you 99 cents for this pizza literally not even edible the middle of the pizza is raw the dough is beyond soggy and raw there is at 3 lbs of cheese on this pizza Literally the worst Nancy’s pizza I’ve been to and I’m out of Chicago I was also in my semi truck when I picked this order up so i didn’t really check the pizza didn’t really think i needed to either

I really want to give this place 5* but I can't. It wasn't super busy. But it took a solid 15 minutes before our order was taken. There were only 2 tables ahead of our order. But it took another 45 minutes+ for our pizza to come.

Ordered a large beef and bacon deep dish. I've worked at 4 different pizza restaurants. So I'm well trained in how to make a proper pizza. Sauce and cheese were properly portioned.

However, the beef and bacon were not. Pizza base cost was already excessive. They do not provide any free toppings and the cost per is high. So I paid an additional around $5 for two toppings.

For about $5 I got around $0.50 of toppings. Like a tiny 25c candy machine kid handful each. The amount severely reduced and greatly lacking from standard for a two topping pizza. The quantity was decreased per topping as if it was a 5+ topping pizza.

If the price is going to be so high for pizza and toppings both customers expect/demand a reasonable quantity. Reading other reviews this is far from an isolated incident.

An hour wait is excessively long. When the pizza arrived at the table it was still not fully cooked. Raw uncooked crust at the bottom. The next day reheating it the lower crust was fully cooked and it tasted much better.

All I know is we spent a lot of money (almost $40 with tip) for a single pizza that would have been excellent if not for long wait, under cooked, and only 1/4 of the toppings required.

I left feeling ripped off by at least $10. (Your customers should never feel this way or they won't return).

I hope the owners and management read this review and engage. I really want to give this place a second chance at a 5* rating.

I'd rather speak up, hopefully have them address the issues, and try again for an excellent experience. But as it sits without proper intervention I...

We drove 1.5 hours to get to the Litchfield location today (8-12) . Not one of the people who I have ever seen was working. Was sat right away and drinks. Then started the wait. I counted 6 tables in the place besides us. One had ordered everyone else was waiting, understandable because I didn't know how long they had been waiting. Now, being a lover of stuffed crust Chicago style pizza... wr make the drive once a month or so. And knowing it takes around 30-40mins to bake ,I am understanding. But when an hour and 20 mins goes by and no pizza, no refills of drinks and no explanation of the delay, I get upset. Then my pizza comes out and thinner than a Pizza Hut hand tossed? Head scracher.. when asked I am told that IS a Stuffed Crust. Now, remember when I said I make an 1.5 hour drive there monthly to eat? I KNOW BETTER!! Then the manager comes out and tells me that it is this is the thickest pizza they make...AT THIS LOCATION!! Then why is THAT table have a 2 1/2 pizza and this one is a Pizza Hut pan at most? This franchise only makes 1 inch crust I'm told. There is only 3 explanations here. 1), The server placed the order wrong. 2). The kitchen didn't make it right. Or 3). The other 15 plus times I've been there they were making it incorrect and serving the best damn pizza around. So, Nancy's...I would love an explanation. And also, when it was questioned, the manager complete indifferent attitude towards us. I am just completely unsatisfied. P.S. I sat and didn't eat anything. Had gas station chicken...

We travel back and forth from southern Illinois to Chicago at least once per month, and we have seen the sign for Nancy's Chicago Style Pizza. We finally stopped to try it out on the recommendations of friends who have eaten at Nancy's on similar trips back and forth. They have always raved about the pizza and encouraged us to give Nancy's a try. Wow! They were right! This is the best pizza we have had in a long, long time. The crust is very good. It was thick enough and moist enough to support the rest of the pizza, and it was not so thick as to be the dominant part of the pizza. The selection of cheese's was very tasty, and there was enough of it to cover the toppings without overpowering the taste of the toppings. The toppings were ample and evenly distributed. The pizza was served hot and the pieces were all cut completely through. The service was excellent in spite of it being a Sunday evening when so many eateries don't have their best crew working. We will definitely be stopping at Nancy's again, and we recommend it whole-heartedly for anyone who finds themselves in the vicinity at mealtime. If you are on the road, it is definitely waiting another hour or so of driving down...
