Los Rancheros — Restaurant in Litchfield

I’ll start by saying I would give this place a no star rating if I could. I went in a few times over the last couple months. For one it seems to be more of a playground than a work atmosphere. I’ve seen several employees horseplaying and on their phones. One waitress hair is way to long and she flings it all around it’s not sanitary around food I actually didn’t eat my food the last time we had her she rushes around and doesn’t give good service to anyone. That night my husband also was horribly ill from food poisoning. Glad I didn’t eat my food that night. I’ve been coming here for years now it was so much better before there was always a gentleman present as manager he was great lately it doesn’t seem to have any management seeming to care about genuine guest experience. And I’ve seen how some employees are treated differently, and the turn around of long time employees that is when they had a great happy crew it just seems negativity has over ridden the experience anymore. Back when this place opened and the first year or so it was great had kinks but great experience it’s just completely gone down hill and no more familiar friendly faces . Hoping maybe you can take this review and try to improve the problems. I miss eating there but seems that all the servers we liked have gone else were. The ones there now don’t even speak...

I'll begin by saying the food had good flavor and the service was good. Had it not been for the after effects there would be at least 4 stars. Unfortunately, all four people in our party were stricken with severe intestinal distress within 18 hours of eating here. I'm not the type to jump to conclusions about so called food poisoning but all four people were affected. This place is the only common factor for all of us. We’re not even finished eating I just had to leave a review. At a glance from outside we weren’t expecting much but boy do they have fantastic fajitas. Everything packed a punch of flavor even the guacamole, salsa, & margarita - jumbo margarita might I add. We’re picky about Mexican food especially the salsa and guacamole but they have it down.
