Ollie's Pizza — Restaurant in Litchfield

My mistake. I'm sure everything else is good there. My salad was very tasty but that's really just veggies in a bowl. We checked the menu online first. And upon review of the online menu I did not see spinach pie or the other indicators of a Greek pizza house. But once inside I realized what I was in store for. My waitress was wonderful and other than the pizza I truly have zero issues. Greek pizza sucks no matter where you go. Italian pizza is the only true pizza. This is why no Greeks that I am aware of have made there pizza famous like frank pepe pizza and countless Italian pizzas across the country. There's a reason there is the terms NY and New Haven style pizza. It's because they are good and the standard for great pizza. Pizza should fold first and secondly my cheese should stay on the slice when bitten not slide off in a hot mess as Greek pizza tends to do. My advise is to find an Italian pizza even if it's made by a Lithuanian. Hope this saves just one person from this...

Came for dinner at 3pm on 4/15/24. Place only had 1 other table. I ordered my favorite entree, with an alteration. Unfortunately when it came it was horrible. I wanted cooked spinach with my chicken and they gave me a huge bowl of raw spinach under cooked chicken. When I explained why this wasn’t a salad but a dinner(chicken spinachie without pasta)the waiter said they were under new owners! Like that somehow excused the cook from making the dish Uneatable? I’m sorry the new owners are going to have to try harder. Even their famous garlic bites were without enough garlic to make them tasty. I really was disappointed and felt I wasted my money. Not a good start for new management. The waiter should have at least taken it back & had the spinach cooked.I’m sad I’ve lost a favorite...

ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! Kudos...
