I usually will avoid any new restaurant until they've been open several months but was where my wife wanted to go... Every restaurant It's going to experience some kind of Difficulty whether it's training staff or Is getting correct orders out on time so I wouldn't typically give any kind of harsh review, actually I usually will only leave high positive reviews whenever my experience was extravagant enough to take the time to write a review and if I ever have any problems I'm not going to make a public review rather bring my issue privately and personally directly with the management- If you are wanting to try this place, I'd go soon...bc mu mind will be blown if they even make it past summer! There's no appetizers, non of the entrees come with any sides, a good variety of wing flavors but maybe 6 other dishes other than wings however only 2 were even available, half their sides weren't available...Okay off to a bad start but they were very busy too. After a good 45 minutes I noticed the table next to us had finally gotten their wings (2 orders same as ours) however they sat down 10 minutes after we had and maybe another 5 min before they even were able to place their order. Server never checked in with us once, but we were also patient as it was newly opened. Finally almost an hour into sitting at a table trying to keep a 1.5 year old occupied and calm we got my entree brought to the table (which wasnt even hot btw) but not our wings asked our server and she zoomed off towards the kitchen. 15-20 minutes later my wife is still waiting on her chicken our 1.5 year old is getting more and more fussy by the minute as he also hadn't gotten his food (there's no kid menu but we ordered him sweet potato fries) so we stood up at our table which was smack dab right in the middle of the restaurant pov there was a 45 minute wait for dine in so you know they were waiting to get our table cleaned and available...you would think at least but after we had been standing at our table for 10 minutes still no server no chicken I went over to the takeout counter so that we could checkout and leave, even after telling them we had never gotten our chicken and our server went ghost they still wanted to charge for the chicken but we were not going to keep waiting on it as at this point there's a pissed off baby hitting all kinds of vocals screaming, and honestly after standing at our table waiting for our server for 10 minutes and receiving almost no service at all other than our order being taken and only ever receiving one of three of our entrees plus everything else that kept spiraling downwards I had hoped at least for an apology maybe? let alone any kind of acknowledgment that we weren't invisible and at least an attempt to even acknowledge they were aware or at least assuring they knew about it and made the slightest attempt to make it right with their customer...nothing, maybe they felt they had messed up so bad that they were hoping that we would just leave without paying which I am not sure why we didn't as I mean what would we be paying for even? It might be a great place for other restaurants to bring their newly hires so they can train on what not to do! Never saw any kind of manager, will give a shoutout to the busboy- who honestly could run the place himself as he was the only one who ever did help us and acknowledged our experience and took the chicken off our ticket as we never got that chicken damn. After having waited tables for 5+ years in the past this place gets a hats off to the worst experience I've ever had dining out...I mean really didn't ever expect any place could ever have such terrible service if they had tried... I mean they wouldn't even check us out seriously lol If you do decide to go see the chaos for yourself feel free it's pretty much a...
Read moreI was apart of a birthday dinner held in their private room. The area was clean and the waitress was as accommodating as she could be. One of the guest in our party could not have spice of any kind in their food due to gastro sickness. The chicken fried rice seemed to be the best option for their dietary restrictions, once the rice arrived I sampled it to ensure there was no spice, unfortunately there was. The waitress apologized and had the rice made again minus everything she thought may be contributing to the spice. The 2nd bowl of rice arrived, we sampled it and unfortunately could still taste the spice. At this point the guest decided she was okay with not having anything to eat because she did not want to be a bother. I think the waitress may have misunderstood the request because she put in an order for a 3rd bowl of rice. Another member of our party had some complications with their order and requested the manager to come into the private room. Han, I believe his name is approached the guest who ordered the chicken fried rice. He was incredibly rude and insensitive and insulting. He argued with the guest about the rice, continuing to go back and forth about the ingredients used to make the rice and how there were no additional spices added. He told the guest “well that may be how you feel but I am telling you there is no spice.” It was very distasteful and unprofessional. He made it a point to say they were not going to remake the food again, our guest tried to tell him they did not request for any additional food, they were content with only having a drink and being in the company of everyone else. I requested the check be brought so we could leave. Soon after the manager came to the table to apologize and explain the rice did have spice from the garlic. He offered ice cream to the dinner party and comp’d the uneaten rice… the gesture was okay but the embarrassment could have been avoided had he listen instead of arguing...
Read moreFirst, I want to say I applaud the owners for bringing an asian food chain that a state like Arkansas may never heard of here. NO, THIS IS NOT KOREAN BBQ as i’ve seen some facebook comment state. Like many of the other reviewers, i’ve tried bbq chicken in other bigger cities and knew what to expect in terms of flavors and the wait time.
I came at 1:30 pm on Friday during lunch, my waiter Robert greeted me and made it clear that there is a wait time of 30-35 minutes. I understood and waited. I was served my drink and my appetizer in a timely manner. majority of the sides I was wanting was out but Robert assured me that they do carry it, just currently out.
It was probably 45 minutes before I got my order which was the Honey Garlic. the batter was crisp and crunchy, similar to beer batter on fish but a lot better! i also do want to add that it was still crispy about 2 hours later went i took my leftovers to my parents. the chicken was juicy and the pickled daikon was a perfect sweet and sour. This is commonly served as a side as a pallete cleanser just for those who don’t understand why such the strong and vibrant flavor. Honey garlic is definitely a sweet sauce with subtle savory notes, but u can’t go wrong with any of the non spicy flavors.
Overall, i definitely enjoyed my time even with the wait time and limited side menu. Robert did a great job setting the expectation of a long wait time as yes some customers may be upset but atleast they know upfront. robert did go back and forth grabbing me a to go drink, to go plates, and an extra container of pickled daikon.
for any new customers, i want to let you know that even at the end of lunch, they were very busy. a lot of their waiters are also adjusting to the flow of things as they just opened. be kind and understanding as i’ve only see good reviews and there is only one korean fried chicken place in central arkansas so who knows when this rush will die down. I definitely...
