DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Usually me and my family enjoy escape rooms and are pretty good at them But this one is different and not in a good way. We (4 people) were charged $142 dollars for cheap and poorly made puzzles. We did âThe Pathâ which we were told it was about an ancient evil being released and we had to do a ritual to get rid of the it. Instead we look at artifacts to try and find out how many tribes were at the dig sites, looked at constellations to find a code that didnât work, spending most of our time trying to figure it out until the staff told us that we were right the first time but the magnets were so poorly placed that we to barely move it over to unlock it, and we had to solve a puzzle about changing the direction of the wind to get home. There was no ancient evil or rituals anywhere. We spent most of our time trying to figure out the wind puzzle because we didnât know what to do. The staff gave us lots of hints that didnât make any sense. At one point, the staff came in to explain how to puzzle works, but he didnât make any sense. We asked him to say it in a different way so we could understand, but he said the same thing. This happened 3 times and we still didnât know what to do. The staff eventually just gave us a picture of were the pieces needed to go, but nothing happened. Then he told us to adjust the pieces a little and we moved one of the pieces barley to the right (due to the magnets being poorly installed) and a compartment opened. Throughout the game the staff were giving us hints without us asking for them, and the whole room was falling apart from how cheap and poorly installed everything was. The bell that we had to ring broke, one of the cabinet drawers broke, and one the hidden compartments popped open on its own due to the cheap and poorly installed magnets. Even the clues were poorly made. They made no sense and we ended up wasting a lot of time doing something random thinking it would work. In conclusion, donât go here. Itâs a waste of...
Read moreWe were a party of six looking for a bit of consequence-free adventure after a tough day of training. We anticipated a fun distraction, and the experience most certainly delivered that, but we all agreed by the end of the experience that weâd been part of ⌠more than that.
Iâve explored dozens of escape rooms but this was the first where it felt like being immersed in subtle artistry. The puzzles were pitch perfect â challenging but never obtuse. The setting was whimsical and vibrant, but the closer I looked the more blown away I became by the attention to detail lurking in every corner. The sequence of challenges presented a perfect blend of logic, intuition and experimentation.
Oh and I have to mention Jessica, who guided us through the experience. She clearly loves her job and was clever at giving just the right amplitude of sneakiness in her hints.
Weâll...
Read moreThis was my first experience with an escape room and I have to say I am now hooked. The whole experience was awesome and the folks running it are fantastic. I didn't catch their names, but the night was kicked off by a run-down of some of the ground rules and signing of waivers, but our host kept it light and fun.
We did the Alchemist's Laboratory room and some of the puzzles seemed impossible at first, but things started falling in place before long and the satisfaction you get is definitely addictive. The employee who was manning the walkie-talkie gave subtle hints when our group started to stall out, but never spoiled the fun of figuring it out on our own.
If you're on the fence about trying one of these rooms, give these folks a try. I HATE frustrating puzzles, but we still had a...
