Need a unique baby or wedding shower gift? Chances are good that you will be done with the shopping early--- if you make Mardel's your FIRST stop! If you are wanting to present a Bible to a new believer in Christ, or as a special gift to a friend, Mardel's has a wide selection of Bibles in hardback (my preference), paperback for giving away, genuine leathers- soft-grain, or firmer, course textured and in a variety of colors. Imitation leathers that feel softer than real leather and so many colors and styles! Yes, they do have Spanish Bibles as well. They also carry the Bible on different audio versions. MP3, CD sets. Some are already installed on tiny personal audio devices smaller than a cellphone! Jewelry of every cost and metal. Beautiful Christian paintings for large walls and the popular palette wood signs, that are more casual. Cards for every occasion - either purchased singularly or in boxes- if you tend to send out lots of cards, or do it for your Sunday school class, in which case, a box of 10-12 cards per box, is about the cost of a single card! Mardel's always has several racks of deeply discounted books on shelves in the book department that are often from $1 to $3! They will also imprint hardback, leather or leather-like Bibles or gift books with the name or initials of the person. They will also imprint on bibles not purchased there for a fee. They also offer name plates in silver or gold, that can be imprinted on and stuck down over a name misspelled, or you find a great buy on a misprinted Bible!! Just check with them about whether the item can be imprinted or branded to your satisfaction BEFORE you buy it. Mardel's has so many great items, Christian tee shirts and music CDs, you really need to stop in and spend some time browsing the aisles for all your gift needs or office,...

Today was my first and most definitely last time entering this store. The staff was extremely rude to me and my children. I was looked at with disgust and talked down to. My son was holding a bag of chocolate while I was looking at the planners. The extremely unprofessional employee asked me if I had paid for it. I replied “no”. He then stated I needed to pay for it because my son was going to open it before I paid for it. I replied, “I know how this works” and he walked off saying my other son had already opened his candy. I then replied, “I purchased his candy from Hobby Lobby, it’s already been paid for.” He just rolled his eyes and walked off. I then made sure that my son had NOT opened his chocolate bag and even stated it was not open. He was standing in the aisle behind us. He did not apologize. What upset me was how several people in the store overheard him stating I needed to pay for the candy assuming we stole it. I then went to the cash register and bought the planner. I showed the opened candy and told her it was purchased from Hobby Lobby and how the employee in the store assumed we opened it without paying for it. She just gave me a nasty look...

This store is such a great place to find all things Books, office, toy, clothing, and home decor! It’s like Barnes and Noble and Hobby Lobby had a baby!

Their sale prices are such good deals. I got the entire Larry Boy collection when it was on sale for $10! A steal! I’ve gotten so many great Christmas items, and great Christmas gifts as well for our kids and nieces etc.

They have an awesome sale rack in the kids area, where books are priced for cheap! I’ve gotten several devotionals there that I’ve been really happy with.

They also carry movies, music, audiobooks, and even an excellent assortment of Chapter books for kids, some Christian and some not, but you at least know that since they’re from Mardel they are solid choices as far as their contents.

Oh and they have a HUGE educational section, perfect for all homeschoolers out there! Great classroom supplies, curriculum, craft supplies and more!
