Love the food. I've been eating Indian food since I was first introduced as a kid. This, by far, is one of the best. When you order your food, you have options on your preferred spice level (1 - 10). If you're feeling brave, go for 10, but order some raita to help with the spicy food. My wife and I ordered spice level 8. It was perfect for us (we ordered the raita). We ordered lamb rogen josh, malai kofta, garlic naan, and chai. The lamb was tender, and gravy was delicious with an extra kick (spice level 8). Malai kofta (my wife's favorite) was, as she described it, "delightful." The chai was delicious. I recommend you order it without sugar and ask sugar on the side so you can choose your sweet preference. (Which is what we did). Naan was buttery warm and full of garlic. It was perfect. The chai was delicious. You can taste the spices with every sip. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order a chai when you visit. Service was great waiter was very attentive, and we loved the colorful pictures and decorations. We didn't order any drinks during our visit, but I was tempted to try their New (Dehli) Old Fashion. In summary, I loved the food. I liked the option for spice levels (1 - 10). The food was very tasty, and it's a great option to have when you want to try your favorite meat cooked in a flavoral gravy (they have a fish dish, chicken, and my favorite, lamb). Chai was really tasty, and it's a perfect drink when you want some caffeine but with more spice...
Read moreI've been hearing about this place and reading the rave reviews about it online, so I decided to stop in and try it. Wow! I'm so glad I did. The chef is a top-notch Indian food maestro. I've been eating here nearly every day now, lol.
On my first visit, I asked for extra hot and spicy. The waiter suggested a 10/10 spice level chicken curry. It was amazing. The chef came out to check with me and make sure it was to my delight. He explained how he uses a special pepper seasoning. I was so amazed at how it was very spicy, but somehow didn't overpower the flavor of the chicken. The dish was completely boneless and had a buttery flavor. I loved it. 😍
On the second visit, I asked for an extra hot and spicy chicken vindaloo. The chef waved at me and asked (Indian spicy again?" I said,"Yes, you know it, " lol. The dish came out spectacular 😋.
Let me tell you, as of right now, this is the best Indian food in the area. I love all of the Indian restaurants in Little Rock, but this guy is super top-notch. I spent $25 each time, including tip. Well worth it. Don't miss out on this restaurant. Highly...
Read moreI came here for dinner with my family after a friend recommended it to us. We’re not big indian food fans but we wanted to give it a shot. Victoria was our server and she was very warm and welcoming. She gave us a run down of the menu after she asked us if we’ve ever been here before and recommended the goat curry. I had never had goat before but i gave it a shot and it was spectacular. So tender. I have had some very good lamb before and this was similar in taste, but definitely tops any lamb dish I’ve ever had, and for a very good price too. Victoria told me that they slow cook it for 10 hours. Overall i was very surprised with the food quality and service as well. Victoria was very attentive and just seemed happy to be there. The atmosphere as well was very nice. Table cloths, glasses and silverware pre-set, custom ceiling in the bar area. For the price and the quality, this restaurant is a gem. Centrally located Markham, and they gave us a to go menu as well. This place is on my way home from work, and i will definitely be bringing some dinner home...
