Recently had the pleasure of dinning at Mauj indian restaurant and i can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from the start to finish . The moment we walked in , we were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff very beautiful lady who made us feel right at home . The service throughout our meal was implacable, the server waitress staff were knowledgeable, efficient, and always ready with a warm smile . Now , onto the food which truly was the highlight of our visit . Jimmy made amazing chill paneer which was prefectly spiced and just the right amount of heat , making it an ideal appetiser to kickstart our meal . The panner tikka masala was a symphony of flavour , which it is rich and creamy sauce enveloping the tender , marinated paneer . Each bite was a delight and the dish was generously portioned. The malai kofta another standout , featured soft and flavourful kofta in a luscious gravy that was both creamy and aromatic. It clear that alot of care and tradition goes into preparing these dishes as they each had a depth flavour that’ s hard to come by . Rice pudding hands down the best i ‘ve had. Over all Mauj indian bar restaurants our expectation in every way . The combination of outstanding service and superb food makes it must visit . I was looking for a place for lunch and wanted to try something new Indian food is not something we ve had a lot of , so we gave it a shot : we are absolutely obsessed with everything we tried . We had garlic naan , chicken saag , lamb Rogan Josh and dal makani and basmati rice . Everything we ordered we lovee . So naturally we also had to try two desserts the kulfi home made and Kheer . Everything single thing was presented well and tasted amazing . Then we got some garlic naan to go with it! 🥰the restaurant was very beautiful and clean . The staff was so helpful it was apparent they cared about our experience even suggested menu items based on what flavors and spice level we liked normally . We will definitely be back and bring some family and friends with us what a gem this place...

My partner and I heard good things about this restaurant and today, being my birthday, we decided to try it. WOW! We have eaten at almost every Indian restaurant in Little Rock and this restaurant has them all beat. First off, we had a great hostess/server named Vickie. She was friendly but also very knowledgeable about the dishes and answered all our questions. The garlic naan bread was fluffy and warm and seasoned just right. Mauj has an extensive menu but will make dishes on request if time permits. for example, my partner had mushroom mater and I had chicken korma—absolutely the BEST I’ve had anywhere!
