We ordered breakfast and swung by to pick it up on our way to an appointment 5 minutes later and expected to wait 10 more minutes or so. They said it would be 30 more minutes. Ok. We will skip breakfast. But they said they could not refund us because we ordered online. We went to the order online and there was no way online to cancel and get a refund. So we asked if they could not refund us, could they just rush it this one time, and get it done in 10 mins or so. It was just two breakfast burritos. They said no. So it seems I am out $25. Customer service is so important. I work in marketing and businesses that do not grant their staff the ability to fix problems die. Ones that do grow. This problem had an easy fix. Fixing problems is how you stand out and thrive as a business and get 5 stars. A refund is the minimum that should have happened. But no one had the power to make tge decision that is best for the business, the business’s reputation. I should have been refunded on the spot, cash if necessary, or a gift card for the amount minimally, if they could not fulfill the order. And maybe even offer a coffee or something for the trouble. They can figure it out later on their end. We were not rude or demanding but did expect an immediate solution to the problem. I am still out $25 and have no breakfast. They said they would call me. We will see. But even if they do, it should have already been...
Read moreThis place was a massive disappointment. I had a very mediocre coffee, which was fine, and then after waiting far too long, the worst bagel I've had in my life.
A frozen Lender's bagel from the grocery store would have been a significant upgrade from this bagel.
I'm relatively certain this bagel was prepared by some restaurant supply company like Sysco, trucked to the store, defrosted, toasted and then served. I'd be even more disappointed if someone on site actually made this product, but that seems unlikely.
This bagel was an insult to the concept of bagels, pastries, baking or food -- it is a processed food product. I would feel guilty serving this as breakfast at the county jail.
I will note they have a nice music selection for the morning -- relaxed yet upbeat, very nice. And I got to listen to three or four songs waiting for them to prepare this insult to breakfast.
And it wasn't like it was a bargain. The bagel and cream cheese ran IIRC $4.25 +...
Read moreThis is a reproduction of my Yelp review praying the owner see's this. This place looks very nice on the outside however like most scams what is advertised is rarely what you get. I walked to the counter then learned that the french dip was 86ed as well as just about half the menu. I'm not a review person but after learning that half of the menu was 86ed I realized I might have to make a review because how are you going to be out of half of the menu and not run this business into the ground. Now is when I would like to talk about the Peter Principle which in the short term means 'incompetent managers are created by hard working laborers being wrongfully promoted.' Whoever is managing this store needs to go back to being a server and learn how to run a restaurant before being promoted to management. Also if theres more selection at a Waffle House during a power outage I think your cafe is doing something wrong. TO THE OWNERS WHAT HAPPENED ARGENTA LOCATION...
