Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Little Rock

Normally their service is very cheery but for some odd reason this morning it was awful. I called the store to see if they were open after I sat in drive-thru for 10 mins, even after pulling up to the window the employees laughed and played but didn't even acknowledge that I was there at the window. They said they open at 5 every morning, I explained that I had been sitting there for a while and the young lady on the phone told me to drive back around that the bell doesn't always work. Well I did so just fir them to tell me they open at six o clock. While doing so another young lady started dancing waving her hands in the hair holding up the number six. So unprofessional and by far the rudest thing that any employee could do to an customer. I'll never go to that...

The donuts were same as usual. However I haven’t had them in a year or 2. What surprised me was the cost was double what I used to pay. Talk about inflation being 20-25%, as we’re constantly being told. I think many things I buy is in the 80-100% area. I don’t know how some families with children can afford these prices. I might add it’s not just this place. I was getting a burger at one of my favorite burger places. A double with cheese used to be $5-$6. It’s now double. Some lady in front of me was ordering for herself, seemed to be her daughter and husband, with a small child. Her cost was $80… I feel for these people. I hope things turn around in the future. I must say in my long lifetime, they never go back to...

May be this is a knockoff of Shipley, I can't say why their food is so bad from the other stores I have tried. I have been to this store probably 3-4 times, and every time, they have made my order wrong. When I got 1/2 dozen donuts, they cramped that in a small paper bag, and it was a horrible mess to get into. Their donuts are not fresh and very doughy and dense and horrible for Shipley's standards.
