I am utterly disturbed and highly dissatisfied in how this location handles bullying and workplace harassment experienced between coworkers. My special needs sister is employed at this location and it has just come to the light, recently, by shift leader Markus that my sister has been the target of workplace harassment that has made her feel uncomfortable in her workplace and created a hostile environment for her to perform her work duties.
For about a month in a half, my young sister has been provoked on numerous occasions by an older women by the name Michelle who makes condescending remarks to her and displays a rude and callous demeanor to towards her. Comments made from the shift leader Markus on 7/9 after another harassing incident were that my sister was being called "slow" by others at the workplace and that the General Manager just did not want to deal with her on his shift. What type of establishment allows such inhumane treatment as this??
When the general manager Eric was made aware of the situation, he stated that he would give the predator a verbal warning and the incident would not happen again. According to eye witnesses at this location, this person continues to provoke my sister.
To the leadership staff that will view this, as you aware activities such as this taking place in the workplace are forbidden and most importantly illegal. This is a violation with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. My sister feels uncomfortable to come back to work and for this, this will not be tolerated and further recourse...

Read moreYes the day before Christmas and all through the drive-in... I was shopping last minute things for Christmas over by Hobby Lobby and decided to drop into the nearby Back Yard Burgers.
I was greeted near instantly by a friendly and professional Alesha who took my order and even shared a joke with me. After I ordered my blackened chicken club combo with Ms Grazi fries, I poured my drink at the clean soda fountain, set it down at a booth washed my hands in the clean bathroom, then returned to await my food.
The booth, table and floor were clean and the napkin holder was full. After a few minutes, I had my hot and delicious food. The fries were well covered with chili and Grazi sauce and the chicken was well cooked and seasoned. I ate my food quietly as a few customers came in, everyone was greeted well and treated with equal respect.
BYB's food is almost always perfect and what I expect. This was no different....
