Learn moreUpdate June 2025: The owner has still made no effort to remove her review on my company’s page. Jacquelyn claims that this review doesn’t negatively impact her. But it’s funny that she keeps attempting to have it removed on yelp.
The owner, Jacquelyn, might be the pettiest person I’ve encountered. Buckle up for this one.
2019 New Years Day: My wife and I stop in around 8:30 after being on the road all day. Traveling from Nashville to NWA. We were ignored while sitting at the bar top for 20 minutes. While sitting there, I start reading the restaurants Facebook reviews and noticed the owner’s combative and dismissive responses. We finally ordered. Open kitchen concept where we watched the cook stop making our food to have a personal little chat with a server. We got our food and ate very quickly. Due to the small portions I was going to order another pizza. Alas, that didn’t happen after a woman behind the bar abruptly notified the entire restaurant that they were out of cheese. We paid our tab and left shortly after. The food was ok, but overpriced IMO.
The next morning, I awoke in a not so great mood and decided to leave a negative Facebook review. I was unaware that the woman behind the bar was Jacquelyn the owner. The gaslighting and excuses were on par from what I saw in her other responses. We had some back and forth in the comments where I noted that I worked in the service industry for ten years and would have handled the situation a bit differently.
Late 2023: I was reminiscing on one of worst restaurant experiences with some friends and tried to find the pizzeria on Facebook. I couldn’t find it and came to the conclusion that I had been blocked. With that, I decided to make a review on Google sharing that 2019 experience. I’ll admit, maybe a bit petty on my end.
April 2024: A coworker of mine asks if I ever look at my work’s Google reviews. It never dawned on me to check those out. We’re a large corporation, what good could come out of that? To my surprise, The Pizzeria left a 1 star review, see attached photo. I assume she searched me on LinkedIn after figured out where I worked.
I decided to take the high road after seeing that. I deleted all of my reviews and emailed Jacquelyn directly asking her to remove her review so we can all move on with our lives. Her response is also attached. She apparently has no problem leaving reviews but can’t figure out how to delete one. I call bullshit.
I’ve followed up multiple times and attempted to call the restaurant, but can never get in touch with her. It is what is now.
I’m hoping that anyone who reads this will consider taking their time and money elsewhere.
I don’t feel great writing this, I’d rather focus on my life and family.
I also feel worse for her employees who are subjugated to her awful leadership and classless responses to criticism. I’ve been there, it sucks to be under the thumb of an owner who doesn’t care about your livelihood.
That said, I’m a reasonable person. If the bad review is deleted from my organization’s page, I have no issues deleting this one.

Read moreI am honestly surprised that The Pizzeria doesn't have a higher rating than 4.3. In my opinion, it deserves at least a 4.5 and hopefully soon a 5 star rating all around. It's honestly the best pizza place I have been to in Arkansas, not just because of the taste of the pizzas, but the bizarreness and creativity of the pizzas. And thank goodness the chefs and owners were creative, because they scored when it came to the taste. I went with my family, so we had a wide variety of pizzas and desserts and drinks to try. I ordered an arugula salad while my family shared another appetizer I can't quite recall. The salad was amazing, especially if you really like arugula like I do. I couldn't necessarily taste the added olive oil and himalayan salt, but again, I like arugula, so I can't really complain. Since we went early this year, I was able to order the strawberry margarita. If at any time you go during strawberry season, you HAVE to get this drink. It wasn't too strong, but it tasted almost exactly like strawberries. For pizzas, we ordered the Shrimp Scampi, the Smoke Salmon, the Prosciutto Arugula, and the Kale Onion Potato. How I listed these pizzas is also the order of how I liked them. The Shrimp Scampi pizza was definitely the best out of the four. Honestly, I was a little skeptical. I mean, shrimp on pizza? I was proven wrong. We should put shrimp on pizza more. Salmon on pizza was also a pretty wild idea to me, but trust me, the flavors work in your mouth. I loved the prosciutto with the arugula(again, arugula lover) together on pizza. What a great flavor combo! It was a very light pizza compared to the others. I thought the Kale Onion Potato was okay, but my family loved it, it was their number one. We finished our pizzas with a range of pies because somehow we ended up having room for dessert(and also our lovely waitress is great at convincing people). I hope I can...
Read moreThis is a really cute spot, and we’d definitely come back for cocktails, but we probably wouldn’t revisit for food. There’s an extensive bar with awesome seasonal cocktails and an extensive wine and bourbon list. The baked Camembert app was okay but could use an added topper to give it something special. While not bad, the pizza wasn’t our favorite because it was very soft/flimsy, with the toppings just sliding off; it definitely could’ve used a few more minutes in the oven. We ordered 2 pizzas (both supreme with different added toppings), and one of our pizzas came 10 minutes after the other, so the first got cold while we waited on the other person’s pizza. Fun fact: A side of ranch was $2 🫣 We ordered a dessert before we were completely finished with dinner but, after 25 minutes, we flagged someone down to ask for our check because we hadn’t gotten the dessert. Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful, although she was clearly overwhelmed by the end. During the 25 minutes we were waiting on our dessert, she didn’t stop by the table. We stopped someone else to ask for our check and she let us know that there was an issue with the ticket printer but she’d let our server know to get our ticket. The server sent the manager by, who came by to apologize for the wait and ask if we still wanted the dessert if he “could have it out in 2 minutes to go”, and we agreed. He said he’d comp the dessert, we stated we weren’t asking for free food, and he said “I like you!” and charged us for the dessert 😂 Everyone was friendly, but the pace of the experience left a lot to be desired. The server did tell us at the beginning that “we’re a boutique pizza experience with a small pizza oven” and that once they get busy pizzas can take awhile, but we got there at 5:15 when there were only 2 other tables so that wouldn’t have impacted the...
