Food is expensive and comes in paper bowls and is eaten with plastic utensils. For $12.00 an entrée, one should get a decent amount of food, but one does not. I was there with two other people, one of which was a 12-year-old boy. All three of us ate everything in our bowls, then left and got a second lunch. We all liked the taste of our food - it was the quantity and the price that would keep us from ever coming back. And the latkes, to me, were not even real latkes. They were fried hash brown balls with onion. A real latke includes matzo meal, the potato should be grated, not shredded, and they should be flat (sorry, just like a bagel with no hole is NOT a bagel, a latke that is in the shape of a ball is NOT a latke). Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to eat. The owner is so nice and he always seems to be working his tail off frying those latkes up! The Jewban is really juicy and the meat is tender! The green chile choice is a classic Colorado staple with yummy amazing latkes. The roast with gravy is to die for, especially on a cold day! The salmon and cappers on top of latkes is such a classic and wonderful flavor and the dill cream is amazing. I recommend to all my friends. I love latkes and it’s so nice to have a place in Denver that does them so well. It always reminds me of my Grandma’s house when I walk in and see all the fellow customers eating, drinking, and chatting. Love love love this place and couldn’t...
Read moreThe food was delicious but the owner was a bit rude. We had our dog on the patio with us and as he brought out another table's order our dog sniffed the air towards the food (who wouldn't the food smelled amazing). But because of this, the owner said our dog was a disturbance and asked us to move to a snowy table in a corner far away from the restaurant. We asked the table who's food was brought out of our dog had bothered them and they said no she didn't because she hadn't even come close to them or the food, just sniffed around. So again the food was good but this experience definitely turned us off from...
