I went to Dutch Bros this week as they had a deal going on. I used the new mobile order through their app and placed it about 10 minutes before I arrived. When I got there I went to the walk up window, and they said they were "working on it" still. However, I waited for 12 more minutes after I arrived at Dutch bros to receive my order. They were busy, as they always were, but I do not think my order should have taken 22 minutes to make, as I ordered ahead. What is the point of mobile ordering if you still have to wait a decent amount after you arrive? Furthermore, when I received my order, they had completely forgotten a key ingredient in my dirty soda.... the sweet cream. Otherwise it was just a regular soda. I didn't mention anything to the staff, as they were already making other orders, and I didn't want to wait any longer.
Today, I took my sister to dutch bros and we went to the window to order. She waited for her drink for longer than it should have taken as they were not super busy, and had at least 3 staff members. I would say we waited about 15 minutes, which is not horrible. However, I watched as every car in the drive through that ordered after us, received their orders and left... Finally, my sister got her order, but, it was the incorrect size! We did not want to wait any longer, so we just left.
All in all, the service at this Dutch Bros location has gone downhill since it opened. The efficiency at this location has decreased significantly, as well as the attention to detail for each order. Needless to say, it is not worth the money for getting the wrong...

Read moreGreat coffee, not worth the half hour I spent in line.
Oh I forgot to update, after the 30 minute wait, the drink was iced. Quick language lesson: tea is a hot drink. Iced tea is a specific alteration to tea, using ice, and is a very different experience to drinking tea.
Notice I don't have to say Iced soda, Iced soft drink, ice is implied because they are cold drinks served cold by default. It would be strange in any other context for someone to ask every time you order "do you want that hot or iced", assuming Iced for a hot drink.
Coffee is a drink that is hot. Iced coffee is an alteration to coffee which adds ice to coffee, which is hot.
So when I ask for coffee
It should be hot
By default
Yet I was not asked if I wanted iced or hot, and they assumed that I wanted my HOT DRINK IN A GIANT CUP OF ICE!??!?!?!?
ALSO, to put an even finer point, it's the dead of winter, and it was below freezing. Why would I be ordering a caffeinnated beverage after midday in winter time? BECAUSE I WANT SOMETHING HOT TO DRINK!!!!!!!
To their credit, the girl at the window offered to make me a hot drink and give me the iced drink for free... like anyone needs that much caffeine after midday..... but I declined because I wasn't inclined to wait another moment having just spent literal 30 minutes in the line for less...
