Ben's Burgers — Restaurant in Livermore

This place is not fast food, do not put it in that category. My wife and I love this place and miss it dearly. I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a line out the door. No one anywhere beats his prices! I recently had a burger at a fast food chain for twice as much. If you live close by or traveling and are hungry make sure this place is your first choice. We live elsewhere now but still haven't found a burger joint that is quite like this one. Ben has the best teriyaki burger on the planet. So we ordered the fish and chips tonight with prawns the fish was the smallest fish I’ve ever seen and was just horrible and the prawns were flat and dry, pretty much over fried and the fries were horrible. I thought I would try this place out after trying Louise fish and chips which by the way were amazing best I’ve ever had but I thought I would give Ben’s a try and oh my God I’m not exaggerating, but my dog and cat are going to have it for dinner and I just am so disappointed what a waste of money on the fish and chips...

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was about 5. I'm 39 now, it's been almost 23 years and it is the same burger and fry that I grew up with! The same food that I fell in love with 34 years ago is still as good as the first time I ever had it. Nothing like the classic Ben's Burger and fries. I remember living a couple miles from here and all the memories of walking them just so I could have an ice cream treat when I reached my destination.
