Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Livingston

Do not come to this jack in the box, especially if you want breakfast! Not too long ago me and my husband decided to stop by this Jack in the box for a quick bite to eat before my mom's wedding began, we were on a time crunch and needed to go through the drive thru to order some breakfast for the ride. Soooo tell me if this is messed up, their website clearly stated that they were open, so as we pulled into the drive thru to try to order we noticed no one was taking our order. So my husband drove up to the window to see what was the hold up, we clearly saw several employees working through the window, laughing talking and goofin off with one another. We kept trying to get their attention and they saw us but deliberately ignored us, how rude and incompetent is that?! The problem is is that the manager is hiring all these young adults who don't care about their customers and whether or not they receive their food, all they care about is gossiping behind the window...I'm sorry but the last time that I checked aren't y'all supposed to be a "professional" restaurant that is supposed to do your job?!.. it's not a gossip group, its a restaurant where you're supposed to serve food to customers. And the last time that I'm aware, the customer satisfaction is usually right a good percentage of the time. I would also like to add that there were already customers inside the restaurant eating at that time, so we knew 100% that it was open, it's just the staff doesn't care and would rather slack off just to chat with their homeboy about yesterday's game...word of advice to workers and manager, don't open a restaurant if you know that you're going to hire such incompetent, lazy employees. That's not gonna get you business right there, so anybody that is hoping to stop in to get a quick bite to eat, you can toss that luck out the window...just go to another restaurant instead and save you the time, money, gas and...

Firstly, some of the best french fries I've had. They were good even without ketchup!

But when it comes to the sandwich, (maybe I'm just bad at eating sandwiches,) but the one I had was one of the messiest sandwiches I've eaten! I'm not sure how I was supposed to eat it without napkins. Which isn't a huge deal on its own, but I honestly didn't think the taste was worth it. And the taco shells hurt my teeth, they were really hard! But while the tacos were a bit difficult to eat, I think the taste made up for it in this case- The tacos were very tasty.

The service I received was friendly. The employees were friendly, especially the manager- Great service from him! But I had trouble hearing some of the employees, and we almost weren't able to eat there. We were told that they were doing cash only, until the manager came and corrected it, and it was kind of unpleasant having to wait for them to figure it out. I came through the drive thru yesterday and was given the rudest service I have ever had at a Jack in the box I will give two stars because the food was great but I do not think the lady at the window had the right to treat us the way she did, I feel like I am a pretty nice person and I try to be nice to those who work in the service department as they go through a lot on a daily basis and I used to have to do that. When I got to the window to receive my food she acted like she didn’t want to be there which I can understand but wow she made me feel so bad and her gloves and overall demeanor was so nasty. She didn’t even have her mask on and this probably isn’t normal because her coworkers were perfectly fine it was just her. I do not want my food touched by someone trying to get everyone sick. I am just glad there is another location down the road. If you want COVID in your food go ahead...
