Really disappointed with our whole experience here. Came here on Mother's Day and there were only 2 tables seated beside ours. The young man working did not greet us and told us to sit any where which we did. Came over for our drinks and then When given the coca cola bottles no one opened them or gave us a bottle opener. Took well over 10 minutes to order. Then food finally came the Al Pastor Quesadilla was ok but had fatty pieces without meat. Waiter never came to check on us. When he did come by I asked for another coke but was never given it. Food came out and my husbands Carnitas burrito was dry and had fatty pieces in it. My flautas were ok. We were never offered any sauces or even a refill on our waters.

When I asked for the check we were charged for the soda that never came. Left feeling very disappointed and wont be...

Food is average, service is below average. As a waiter your main job is to take a order and give it to the cook. obviously this was too difficult for our waiter. We (my daughter and I )ordered a appetizer and 2 entree's and ordered a entree to go for my wife who wasn't there . After having to serve ourselves drinks because our waiter was preoccupied (messing other orders up no doubt) we finished our food and waited for 20 minutes to get the check we realized our waiter could care less about bringing the check. So we went over to the register to pay he rung us up and guess what? He never put the order in for my wife's entree. Like I said in the beginning food was average at best and the service was horrible. I will never go to this place again and would not recommend to anyone else. I've had way better Mexican food and way...

If you think that Chipotle makes good burritos, then you are wrong; this place serves burritos as they should be made. I would only recommend serving sour cream on the side for takeout because it makes a big mess when you eat it. The burritos are not spicy at all, but if you want some spice, there are a few different sauces that come with them; the red sauce is the best—I still can't figure out how they make it. The green sauce goes very well with fish tacos. I would not recommend ordering quesadillas or loaded nachos with takeout orders because plastic containers are not a good option for that; use a paper container, as Whole Foods has done for years with their fries. The taco salad was also great; it was very different from other salads that people usually order. I would definitely...

My husband and I come here a lot. Food is delicious . Service? It depends . Lately there was this guy who was kind of bossy , and at the same time who didn’t know exactly the menu. For example my husband always gets the seafood soup, and this server started to ask, what kind of seafood, do you know it’s a big bowl (they only have one size), and other things that honestly were annoying and senseless. (I don’t remember this guy’s name). We were on point on not going there anymore, because every time he was either forgetting something or annoying us. BUT fortunately for them, they have Reina (I believe is her name). SHE IS THE BEST! She was so attentive, always checking on us, everything on point. Because of her and the food, you get 5 stars from us. And… We’ll be back.

I visited VIVA GUACAMOLE today after reading some positive reviews and hoping to experience authentic Mexican food. My wife and kids were very excited. However, after the first bite, all our excitement quickly disappeared. The food was terrible. We couldn't even finish 50% of our meal and decided to leave it. When the waiter asked if we wanted to pack the leftovers, we declined. Shortly after eating, we experienced stomach discomfort and had to rush home. I don't think we will ever visit this restaurant again. In addition to the poor food quality, the inside of the restaurant appeared somewhat unclean and unhygienic. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Viva Guacamole is a nice place, but the service tonight was terrible and the food is only meh. There was a young man working who was very hardworking and well-intentioned, but then two young women (a waitress and a cashier) who were standing around doing nothing — we ordered from the waitress and she didn’t so much as bring us water until we asked if she could bring us the drinks we ordered ten minutes before. The food is fine, but lacking in flavor for the most part. My chorizo had no taste at all. I prefer Leyendas de Mexico in Parsippany, but Viva Guacamole is fine too — but I probably won’t be back.
